Harder than steel and coated inside with DuPont's exceptionally durable, three-layer Autograph nonstick, the pots and pans in this 12-piece set outfit a kitchen with cookware that's rugged enough for everyday use and looks great on the stovetop or in open storage. Made of hard-anodized aluminum, the pots and pans heat quickly and evenly without hot spots, resist scratching and denting, and are oven-safe to 500 degrees F. Hollow, 18/10 stainless-steel handles polished to a mirror finish stay cool on the stove and are riveted for durability. Handles and rims on tempered-glass lids match the handles in looks and permit cooking to be monitored without releasing heat.

The set consists of 2-quart and 3-quart saucepans with lids; a 4-quart saucepot with lid; a 5-quart sauté pan with lid; an 8-quart stockpot with lid; a 4-quart stainless-steel steamer insert; and a 10-inch skillet. Anolon Professional cookware carries a lifetime warranty against defects, and lids are guaranteed against breakage for a lifetime. --Fred Brack

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!
This is a gorgeous set of cookware that performs at a high level. It's stylish and looks like it's from a professional kitchen. I love it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best purchase I've ever made!!!
This set is awesome! For the price, you can not go wrong! Great for every day use! Yes, the glass lids do fog up, but with how easy they are to clean - I don't even consider it an issue. For those that are having problems with exterior scratches - place a dish towel between them when stacking in the cupboard - works like a charm!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Agree with a reviewer who says cool inside, bad exteriors
Pros: they look pretty

Cons: For the price, I guess I can expect a bit more. I have learnt the name is a hype and feel sorry to have invested in these (albeit) fancy tinpots. All my pots are so badly marked from the outside, it is incredible!! Cannot use 'em in the dishwasher or they will scratch! Cannot use any metal tools. Lids extremely heavy. I bought these about three years ago and these review were not there.

I have an older set of Wearever which looks spectacular after all these years (6+). It is a beautiful dark maroon and the lids do not steam up. Unfortunately I am not sure if Wearever is available anymore.

Would not recommend Anolon. If you must buy em' buy a single piece first before the whole set

4-0 out of 5 stars what a shame
what a shame that I can not get to toutch or buy this item, along with many others I wanted as they are only for shipping within the US. There are other people in the big old worlsd that have money and want to buy but do not live in America. Please oh please could you deliver overseas or at least display only those items that are available for shipping!

These pots and pans are FANTASTIC! I love the way they cook evenly and they are so easy to clean. I want MORE! Definitely one more (larger) frying pan. Really, these are awesome! My Mom always told me not to skrimp on pots/pans or lampshades. She was right again!!! ... Read more

Coated inside and out with Dupont's exceptionally durable, three-layer Autograph nonstick, Anolon Advanced cookware provides heavyweight, professional-quality performance and 21st-century convenience. Pots and pans clean easily, while the rugged nonstick readily releases food. Beneath the nonstick is heavy-gauge, harder-than-steel anodized aluminum. Pot and pan bottoms are left uncoated to conduct heat quickly and prevent hot spots. Bright chrome handles have hanging holes for storage and soft, stay-cool rubber grips for slip-resistance. The grips are deep, narrow, and shaped ergonomically, permitting pans to be used comfortably despite their weight. Break-resistant, domed glass lids permit cooking to be monitored without releasing heat and are oven-safe to 375 degrees F. The cookware's charcoal gray, nonstick exterior has an attractive enamel-like appearance.

This 10-piece set outfits a kitchen with all essential pots and pans. It consists of 2-quart and 3-quart saucepans with lids; a 12-inch, 5-quart sauté pan with a lid; an 8-quart stockpot with a lid; and 8-inch and 10-inch skillets. 5-0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommended Cookware From A Gourmet Housewife
I've had this set for over a year.

My husband and I love to cook. I had Farberware for years and it was time to upgrade to a non-stick. I had read loads of reviews of Calphalon, Analon & Circulon. Those were the high end non-stick cookware I was looking at.

What sold us was the handles. You never have to use anything to take it off the stove as the handles are rubberized and always cool. We had another pan (Belgique) which promised the same thing (cool handles) but that wasn't true.

It is true that the bottom gets black, but I don't have a problem with that as I want pans that can cook, especially since we eat at home every day and love our organic gourmet type food that we eat. My husband eats meat, I don't, but that is not a problem with these pans and this set. When he makes Indian food (for instance), he's using another pan for the meat stuffs, while I use the another pan for the vegetable things.

Cleaning up is not hard with these pans. I usually don't even have to soak them.

I don't see very many scratches on my cookware set as others say they do on theirs. I would say minimal scratches have appeared, in fact, I can only remember 1 small one that I've seen in a year's use of heavy cooking.

As far as oils in the pan (someone wrote a review saying not to use oil in the pan), I had no idea about it. The person who wrote the review said they used Canola Oil, maybe that's why? I have only used high grade Olive Oil in the pan and have never had any problems whatsoever.

Food tastes great in this set and yes you CAN stack it. In 2 stacks as I do.

Overall I recommend this for anyone who loves to cook, or is just a casual cook.

5-0 out of 5 stars Terrific cooking tool. Makes cooking more fun!
I bought this set almost a year ago, after having used a set of old-fashioned pots and pans for many years. These are a delight to use! Sunny side up eggs, which always stuck in the old pan and were often tough and rubbery, come out tender and I love just sliding them out of the pan onto the plate. I don't even have to use a spatula to loosen them. Even for food that doesn't slide out, clean up is really easy.

I did take the time to not just read, but actually learn the manufacturer's instructions for taking care of them and follow them to a T. (My Dad taught me that if I take care of my tools, they'll take care of me.) So they still look and work like new.

I enjoy cooking much more now that I don't have to worry about sticking. I'm more adventurous, because I know that even if the food doesn't turn out great, at least it won't be a hassle to clean.

5-0 out of 5 stars Customers Service!!!
I have spent thousands of dollar's, On Meyers cookware everthing from KitchenAid, Anolon, Prestige, Faberware, & Circulan, just to name a few. Though Meyers does manufacture very high quality pots & pans and I would recommend them to anyone it's just sad that if you have any problem with them, under warranty, you have to go throught the chain of command, that never gets you anywhere, even if you want to speak with upper management about the rudeness of the customer service department. Their customer service department employees are always very rude and snotty and they act like they are doing you a favor to even talk to you about their products. Don't get me wrong they do make good cookware, probably the best, but you as the consumer are at the mercy of their customer service and their descision or your fait on wheather your life time warranty is honored or not.

5-0 out of 5 stars 6 Months Heavy Use and Still Great
I don't write many reviews, but I am impressed enough with this set to offer nearly unconditional recommendation.

For the everyday cook who wants a set that is easy to clean, heats evenly and stands up to daily use, this set is what you want. Super heavy cast anodized aluminum, big glass lids, a bit heavy but thats exactly what you want in tough cookware you use every day. Perfect for families with kids.

The non-stick holds up very well on interior *and* exterior. The bottom is not coated so that heat from burner will not damage non-stick coating. The 5 quart pan is perfect for large skillet dinners. After 6 months daily use using mostly non-stick tools, hardly a scratch inside or out.

You'll use less oil, clean up with water. If you enjoy cooking fresh food every day give them a try. I bought mine at local store with bonus offer of a big rectangular grill for $299. The grill is also great, heats evenly, no hot or cold spots when positioned over two burners, perfect for pancakes.

We don't put pots in dishwasher (so easy to clean by hand), but sometimes lids go in dishwasher and they haven't suffered any damage so far. We have gas stove, but I doubt cooking surface will change performance.

Have a small kitchen so I hang some pots from black metal pot rack/ shelf combo I got from Pier 1. They look great there and are within easy reach.

3-0 out of 5 stars Analon Cookware
The cookware itself is very nice - it cooks food evenly and cleans easily. The lids are very nice. My only complaint is that each piece is quite heavy. It requires both hands to lift most pieces & transferring food from pot to serving dish is often messy, just due to the awkward weight of the products. Other than that, I have been pleased with them. ... Read more

Coated inside with DuPont's exceptionally durable, three-layer Autograph nonstick, the pot and pans in this eight-piece cookware set are made of hard-anodized aluminum so they're harder than steel. The set comprises 1-1/2-quart and 2-quart saucepans with lids; a 6-quart stockpot with lid for simmering stocks and soups; a 10-inch sauté pan with high, straight sides that provide room for cooking meat, poultry, seafood, or vegetables; and an 8-inch, slope-sided skillet. (The stockpot's lid also fits the skillet.) Because they're aluminum, the pot and pans conduct heat quickly and uniformly without hot spots. Exteriors resist scratching and denting and show the matte-finish gray that characterizes the hard-anodizing process. Synthetic handles and lid knobs are oven-safe to 350 degrees F, and handles are riveted for strength. Lids are made of break-resistant glass so food can be monitored while it's cooking without releasing heat. The cookware should be hand washed and carries and lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!
I have nothing but good things to say about this set, whether it be the 8, 10 or 11 piece cookware set. I started out with the 8 piece set and QUICKLY added the wok, chef's pan, 3 quart pot, 4 qt. saucepot and the grill pan.

They conduct heat unbelievably fast; liquids boil almost in the blink of an eye. Having said that, you have to keep an eye on your meal, and cook on a lower temperature than you normally would.

These are a snap to clean up. I love the glass lids, too....lets you see how things are simmering, boiling etc.

I would say.....worth their weight in gold!

5-0 out of 5 stars The BEST Cookware EVER!
I purchased this set a few years ago and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I used to avoid cooking anything that required more than heating in the oven because I hated cleaning pans. These pans are so easy to clean it is amazing! I started trying out more recipes and saved a TON of money on food--these practically paid for themselves in that respect.

They do require a little more care than cheap Faberware type pans, but it is well worth it. Even though you have to hand wash them (don't put them in the dishwasher), the excellent non-stick surface just wipes clean. Right after cooking, I would rinse the pans and all of the food remanants came right off. After that, all I had to do was wipe them with a soapy cloth and PRESTO, they are clean and ready to use again.

With the non-stick surface and the lower heat (these pans heat up quickly at Medium--saves energy) it also lends to much healthier eating. I was amazed at how many things I could brown without using one drop of oil. The manufacturer recommends not using a lot of oil (it can cause the pans to overheat) and you can take them fully at their recommendation...you really don't need it. I would highly recommend these pans to anyone who is willing to put forth the little care necessary to keep them in good shape.

5-0 out of 5 stars Healthy, Hassle-Free Cooking and Cleanup
I love this set! I purchased the new Pampered Chef Professional Cookware Family Skillet and Lid as a hostess bonus this past summer, and liked it so much that I wanted to replace my 20 year old starter cookware set (stainless steel, copper-clad) with something comparable. This set has the same features as the Pampered Chef Professional Cookware line - hard-anodized aluminum with DuPont Autograph nonstick coating, glass lids and oven safe to 350 degrees. It also offers more versatility in terms of piece selection.

The nonstick coating is great if you're health-conscious and want to use less fat, it requires less heat, and it cleans up in a snap. I don't have a dishwasher, so I really appreciate this feature. (Don't wash this cookware in the dishwasher!) If you cook for a larger family you may want to consider the 10 piece set, but if you're starting out and cook smaller quantities this has smaller pans and you can add a larger stockpot or skillet later. Use nonstick utensils to avoid damage to the nonstick surface.

There was a small scratch on the 8-inch skillet when I received the set, so I mailed it back to the Meyer Corporation and they sent me a new skillet very quickly, no questions asked. I have since ordered the 4-quart pasta pot and 10-quart stockpot. I hadn't thought much about cookware until I started using this line, and now I wouldn't trade it for anything! (If you're upgrading, don't throw your old cookware out, give it to your local refugee resettlement agency or charity so someone else can enjoy it!)

5-0 out of 5 stars Very satisfied
These pans look good and are flat so are very good for smooth top stoves. Follow directions and use the lower heat... shouldnt have any problems. The lids fit well and the pans clean up very well. I first tried an anolon and cirulon pan to test a couple years ago. Now we ordered this set plus 5 other pans because amazon had a great sale price. Close to $1000. retail value for $252.31 with free shipping. They shipped from all over but was well pleased at how fast they arrived. Thes are probably the best pans we have had and would recomend them. I do hope the lady that needed the replacement is taken care of by this company as the product is nothing without the guarantee that this company will stand behind there product.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good non-stick, but rivets need carefi; c;leaning
This set of pots is a very good value for the price. The heavy aluminum, not stainless steel (see why this is important, below), pots are clad both inside and outside with non-stick which makes them easy to clean. HAND WASHING RECOMMENDED, but having used them for over a month so far, food doesn't stick so washing is easy. But be careful, use non-scratch utensils and do NOT bang the utensils on the side of the pots to get the food off. It might hurt the non-stick.

My only two quibbles are the rivets that connect the handle to the pot make the interior not completely smooth so when you wash it, you must pay special attention to remove food that may be stuck in the interface between the pot and the rivets. And the handles are only rated to 350 degrees in the oven. An all-metal handle would have been more professional, but also costs more and would be heavier.

My other quibble: The glass lids make it easy to see how your food is doing without letting out the steam. But the handle to the lid is held on with a single screw. Some of my lids spin and others don't. This might be a weakness as time goes on.

These pots' bottoms are really FLAT which are excellent for my radiant heat cook top. If you boil water in one, you can see how evenly the SMALL bubbles form which means the heat is very, very even. Your food cooks evenly and FAST which are the main differences between good and not so good cookware.

Oh, stainless steel is tougher than alumninum but has lower heat conductivity so the heat doesn't spread across the bottom of the pot as well as alumninum, leading to less even heating. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars These are really, really great!
I spent well over five hours researching all aspects of cookware including teflon coatings, dishwasher compatibility, price, durability, brands, etc. I was looking for a set that was dishwasher compatible. I only found two and this one was by far a much higher quality.

I love these pots! I do use the dishwasher and the recommended dishwasher soap and they seem to stand up fine. I am very protective of them, and no one is allowed to stack dishes inside of them. I am still getting used to them though; they require much less oil than I am used to. They also require much less heat than I am used to. I have not used them in the oven, because I just find it akward to put a pot in the oven and have found no need to do so. I love the large 12" saute pan. They are all more than adequate in size.

I also just ordered the steamer 3 piece set and a stir-fry pan. If I had more money to spare, I'd also get the roaster.

I do not understand why these aren't in the stores. If they were marketed better, I think everyone would want them over the other options. Our local Macy's didn't carry them.

5-0 out of 5 stars great pans
I got these pans for Christmas and I love them. I chose these because they were dishwasher safe, but they clean up so easy I have yet to put them in the dishwasher. My only complaints are that they are quite heavy (they may by difficult for an elderly person to handle) and I feel the handles get a little too warm to be handled comfortably. I have added a few more pieces to my collection and hope to continue to do so - but this set is a great one to start with!

4-0 out of 5 stars Very good cookware set.
I was comparing various cookwares at the store, All-Clad,
Circulon, T-Fal, Jamie Oliver T-Fal, Emerilware, etc.

These high end sets have a concave bottom which some people
claim will flatten out when you cook, but since these units
have thick bottoms, I have doubts that the cookware will flatten
out, a requirement for Ceran type electronic cooktops. I noticed
the cheap stuff costing $10 was more planar on the bottom which
is sorta odd.

The next thing I looked at was the handles. This Alonon Titanium
seems to have the best handles of all the high end sets. It's
thick and hollowed out I believe and fits well in your hand.
The Jamie Oliver T-Fal was also good, the handles were wide and
stout. Everything else was mediocre, it's too small and you don't
feel in control of the cookware.

The next thing I looked at was the thickness of the materials.
The Alonon Titanium I measure at over 200 mils thick, it's
very good. The Emerilware claims 5mm thick which is also about

200 mils. The Jamie Oliver cookware is different, it has a
very thick base, I'm estimating around 375 mils thick, stainless
exterior, but the rest of the cookware piece has thin walls.
A different design.

I like the thick hard anodized aluminum with non-stick interior
and composite titanium exterior coating that the Alonon set
provides. It seems to be more resistive to scratches than without
the coating and it looks glossy vs. a satin like the other hard
anodized cookware. The Jamie Oliver T-Fal is also nice, I like
the stainless exterior.

My main concern is planarity of the bottom for my electric
range. Normally I would have probably settled for the Jamie
Oliver T-Fal if it was planar because it's lower in cost, but
taking into consideration how thick the base is, I have doubts
that this cookware will flatten out during heat. I decided to
get the Alonon set even thought it cost more, mainly because it's
200 mils all around the cookware and the superior handles.

Everyone seems to recommend the All-Clad cookware. I saw some
All-Clad stainless steel, MC2, and Copper exterior at the same
store, so it was easy to compare. If I didn't know this was
suppose to be the high end stuff, I would have guessed that
it was the low end stuff just by looking at it. The stainless
steel set has nothing interesting to offer. The material isn't as
thick, the handles are thin (like Emerilware) and it's
overpriced. The MC2 is just plain ugly and it's standared
bare aluminum, stainless interior, it's too easy to scratch
the aluminum.

I'm giving the Anolon Titanium only 4 stars because the bottom
planarity of the larger diameter pieces are too concave for
my liking. The smaller pieces aren't too bad, but I expect
perfection. Considering that all the high end sets suffer from
planarity, then technically this set would get 5 star rating. ... Read more

This 8-piece set outfits a kitchen with essential pots and pans. It consists of 1-quart and 2-quart saucepans with lids; a 10-inch, 3-quart sauté pan; an 8-quart stockpot with a lid; and an 8-inch skillet. This cookware carries a lifetime warranty against defects should be hand washed. --Fred Brack

5-0 out of 5 stars Exactly What I Wanted
This is a great set of pots and pans. Not only did I get this set, but I also purchased about 5 more pans, and love them all. I was comparing this set to the Calphalon Contemorary. I went to various department stores to talk to sales people that work with both companies, and they all preferred Analon Advanced. These pans are truly nonstick inside and out. The only place where food gets stuck is on the bolt(s) inside the pan that hold the handle(s) on. The handles on both the lids and the pans never get hot. I have even put them in the oven, and they work perfectly. The only thing that has happened is the bottom of the pan where the flame hits it has slightly discolored. However, I keep my pans in the cabinets so it's not an issue.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good investment!
I love this cookware set. They are easy to clean and look very contemporary! This is a good startup set to add on. Also, it's a breeze to buy from Amazon. The order was shipped on the day it was promised. Great job Amazon.com!

4-0 out of 5 stars "Retail" Prices....
This might be a decent set of pots and pans but I figured that I would mention that the "Retail" price is inflated. MSRP from www.anolon.com is $199.99.

With a depth of 2-1/2 inches and a capacity of 5 quarts, this heavy, durable, satin-finish pan cooks big meals. It's called a sauté pan because of its shape, but its versatility extends well beyond sautéing or frying. In the oven (to 350 degrees) or atop the stove and covered with its tight-fitting, domed glass lid, it functions as a casserole to stew or braise meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables. Brown stewing beef, add vegetables for a quick sauté, pour in broth, add rice, cover, and simmer for a one-pan meal. Simmer pasta sauce with the lid off. Fry chicken in a bit of oil, cover, and place in the oven to finish. A loop handle opposite the main handle permits two-handed lifting. Handles and the lid's knob stay cool atop the stove. To preserve the interior, use only wood or plastic utensils. --Fred Brack ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This Is a "Must Add" To Your Cookware Set
When you have to fry a lot of things, like more than a dozen Asian potsticker hors d'oeuvres, this pan is perfect for the job. And with its first class Dupont Autograph lining, the potstickers won't stick! I was initially concerned about uneven frying since the pan's size was much larger than my stove's burner, but the anodized aluminum material conducts heat so evenly that my potstickers turned out perfectly! It has a number of great features, too, like a tight-fitting glass lid and a helper handle, which makes it easy to carry this heavy pan. If you've got room in your kitchen shelf, consider adding this to your cookware collection. It feels so solid and strong that it could probably survive a nuclear disaster, and its nonstick lining is the best that I've had in my kitchen. The only downside is its relatively large girth which makes it somewhat awkward to wash if you have a small sink.

5-0 out of 5 stars A wonderful addition to any kitchen
This pan has an excellent non-stick surface, good handles and very even heat distribution. The helper handle makes it easy to move or lift the pan while it's loaded. The glass lid is especially nice for monitoring simmered dishes. It's big enough to hold a dozen large sausages, pan fry seven chicken breasts, or make large batches of spaghetti sauce or any skillet recipe. I wish the knob on the lid was easier to grip with a pot holder or mitt, like the Anolon professional version, but I feel this pan is a better overall value for the money. ... Read more

Anolon's 15-inch roaster cooks chicken, beef, or pork to the peak of perfection in its stainless-steel rack, which allows heat to uniformly reach beneath the meat as well as above by lifting it from the bottom. Plus, not only can you make an unparalleled pork roast or prime rib, but you can use the juices that drip from the rack to baste or for gravy.

Anolon Commercial Clad cookware is made of 18/10 stainless steel with an aluminum core, ensuring perfect heat distribution by ridding itself of the hot spots that plague some pans. Use the two stainless-steel HollowCore handles (riveted to the pan for extra durability) to remove the roaster from the oven. 5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT
All i have to say is, this pot is GREAT!

5-0 out of 5 stars An Apartment Dwelling Cook's Viewpoint
This is one of the best Dutch Ovens I have owned. For couples or small families it is the perfect size. I like it best because it can go from stovetop to oven (over 350 degrees). This pan make roasting meats fun again, You can brown it on the stove top and then go right to the oven. It is deep enough that you can leave the lip off and not splatter up the oven to much. It is overall a very versital pan. It does fit the professional series better than the classic, but the price was definitely classic.

3-0 out of 5 stars The handles make it not a Classic
I love my Anolon Classic cookware and have accumulated about 30 pieces including 4 qt. and 10 qt. Dutch ovens. I prefer the Classic series because of the material used for the handles. This item has metal handles like the Professional cookware although the pictures on the side of the box show the Classic resin handles. I haven't used this and might send it back. I would for sure if I could exchange it for the 5.5 qt. 'true' Classic at a comparable price but for some unknown reason it costs three times as much. ... Read more

This good-looking stir-fry pan is more diminutive than a wok and larger than a frying pan, and its nonstick surface lets you cook a handful of delicate snow peas or enoki mushrooms using virtually no oil without worrying that they'll stick or burn. It's the perfect kitchen tool for creating healthy, fat-free cuisine, but it also handles oils and special vinegars beautifully, and will accommodate a rich curry or a splendid bouillabaisse. You can even begin cooking on top of the stove and finish in the oven--up to 350 degrees. Its neat domed glass lid has a raised, easy-grip knob so your hand doesn't touch the hot surface, and you can peak at what's inside without releasing any of the flavors or steam. --C. 5-0 out of 5 stars Comparable items?
I bought the 12-piece set of analon classic and really love them. I love them so much that I've ordered this stir fry pan and lid which has not yet been delivered, but I'm sure I'll love it too.

Meyer manufactures Analon so they know all the pieces that are available. I wonder how this pan compares with the Analon Classic 12-inch skillet, no lid, ASIN B0000A0VG2? The lid-less pan is listed in its specs as being 3" deep but this one's depth is not given. Carefully comparing the enlarged images of both pans, especially where the rivets are relative to the bottom of the pan, it would seem that this one is deeper than 3". Its depth is not given. I hope so. This pan is priced at more than three times that of the lid-less 12-inch pan. A lid isn't worth that much!

5-0 out of 5 stars Finally the perfect wok
I'm a Chinese so needless to say I stir fry a lot and I've been in search for the perfect wok/stir fry pan for the past 3 years. My criteria:
1. Non-stick
2. Flat bottom
3. Not too heavy with easy to grasp handle
4. Got to have lid

The first I bought was a Calphalon hard-anondized 12" flat bottom pan with plastic dome lid, since I liked Calphalon brand and the pan is made in USA. But that pan was 5 lbs by itself with a very narrow handle, making carrying very tough and my wrist hurted. Plus it's stick resistant but not non-stick, making frying meats, fish even eggs difficult. Heating up is slow too due to the sheer weight of the pan.

Then I got T-Fal deep saute non-stick pan. Being a saute pan, the whole 10" bottom is flat, causing overheating spots if you don't have enough food to cover. After a few months use, the supposedly flat bottom became higher in the middle and lower around the edge, causing the oil to flow to the edge exposing the middle which is even more susceptible to overheating. In the end I went through 2 of this pan since the non-stick coating simply warped.

A few months ago I saw this pan on sale at Filene's department store and got a chance to check it out. Love at first sight! It satisfies all my criteria and I was excited it was available at Amazon[.com] with even better price and free shipping!

After a couple of weeks use, I like it even more. It heats up quickly, foods simply glide inside easily since it is a wok after all, unlike the T-fal saute pan. What's more, the top edge is covered with non-stick coating (unlike some pans with exposed aluminum), so any left-over grease on the edge is easy to clean and won't build up burned grease after long time use. The glass lid makes checking progress so easy. Lastly the lifetime warranty gives me peace of mind.

So I give this pan 2 thumbs up!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good Wok substitute, esp. for radiant heat
When I switched to radiant instead of electric or gas, I needed new pots/pans that are REALLY flat so food cooks evenly rather than burn on the spot that touches and doesn't cook on spots that don't.

I bought the 12-piece set of analon classic and really love them. I love them so much that I ordered this stir fry pan and lid. I love this pan so much. I admire its shape and everything. It's my most used pan. It's really big and deep, and the curved sides make it easy to stir things around; nothing gets caught in the angle. And it's a wok with a modified bottom that works on radiant heat!

4-0 out of 5 stars Buy this instead of those "professional" cookware
This stir fry pan is better than most. I like it because it is lighter than most. Handle is easy to grip and it comes with a cover which is a good one. It also last longer than most.

Enough praises. But I have to tell you that if you use it regularly, it won't last over a year. "Stir Fry" requires high heat and "Nonstick" requires medium heat. "Nonstick Stir Fry" means "good pan for a year". I use it 5 times a week and trust me, it will start sticking within a year no matter what utensils you use and how careful you clean it.

Having said that, this stir fry pan is still a good value. Especially the standard size cover which will out last the pan. Do not waste money on those "professional" cookwares that cost over $100. Buy 2 of this instead. The only difference is the professional is heavier and had a thicker Teflon coating.

5-0 out of 5 stars finally, a quality wok
For my upstart apartment I needed a wok at the core of my cooking ware that I could use daily, and I finally found a quality wok at a decent price. DO NOT spend less than $50 and expect to get something that will a) not rust, b) be real non-stick, and c) have a decent warranty. This wok combines all of the above. A definite recommended buy. ... A rare feature among hard-anodized cookware, Anolon Titanium isactually dishwasher-safe. However, it offers cooks many advantages longbefore cleanup time. Constructed of extra-thick aluminum, these heavypots and pans conduct heat quickly and uniformly (no hot spots) andwon't warp. Their handsome, charcoal-gray exterior is harder than steeland resists scratching and denting. Inside, they're coated withDuPont's exceptionally durable Autograph nonstick that readily releasesfood. Stainless-steel handles have an attractive satin finish. Thehandles are rounded for comfort, hollow to stay cool on the stovetop,oven-safe to 500 degrees F, and have hanging holes. This classic,slope-sided, 10-inch skillet is perfect for sautéing, frying, orpan-roasting a veal chop.

Unlike conventional hard-anodized pots and pans, this cookware isdishwasher-safe because its titanium-composite exterior is nonporous.Nevertheless, its virtue of being dishwasher-safe is not unlimited. Toprevent pots and pans from discoloring in a dishwasher over time--andto prevent voiding the lifetime warranty against defects--themanufacturer's cleaning instructions (included) about water temperature(120 to 140 degrees F) and detergent (mild, with a phosphate contentless that 7-1/2 percent) must be strictly observed. 5-0 out of 5 stars World's most comfortable handle
I just love my analon titanium. Cooks evenly, goes in the oven, excellent nonstick, and has the world's most comfortable handles. If you're like me, all-clad handles dig into your hands painfully. These handles nestle stably in your palms.

4-0 out of 5 stars Awesome addition to my kitchen - great for lowfat diets
I've been using this skillet for a couple of weeks now and it is just AWESOME! It uses Dupont's highest-quality Teflon "Silverstone" coating and it really works. One of the greatest things about it is that you truly can cook alot of foods without any oil at all: I've been making scrambled eggs every morning by throwing the eggs and ham in the pan w/nothing else, and they just flip right out when you're done with very little residue left over to wipe out. Same with pancakes.

One thing that took getting used to is that it's alot heavier than the aluminum saute pan that I used to use, so it takes quite a bit longer to heat up and responds more slowly to changes in the flame. And it also takes more wrist action to muscle around. The upside, of course, is that the heat is very even and it's worked great for slowly simmering thick sauces.
