This blender burned down my room
This blender was plugged in in my room. It then exploded, and destroyed all of my possessions which cannot be replaced. Do not buy this blender.

Quickly broke under ordinary use
After only a half-dozen uses, the the round white piece that connects the glass pitcher part to the base, called the "jar base," cracked, making a mess and rendering the blender useless.

I have purchased 2 of these blenders and I am sorry to say it was a BIG mistake!!! We had to by a new ring for it within 2 months and then the blade assembly cracked. so we bought a new one and less then 4 months later the new one also had the blade assembly cracked... Very shoddy blenders!!!!

Wow!
I would have to say that this is just about the best blender I have ever owned! It makes a great milkshake! And Whatever I make does not taste like plastic! It is great! I would highly recomend it!

Stay away!
This blender broke down three months after purchase. Thinking I just happened to get a lemon, I contacted B&D and they replaced it (at a cost of $5 to me for shipping). Three months later - the same result. In both cases the blades froze up and refused to spin. What happened to the good ole days when Planned Obsolescence waited at least a year to kick in? ... Quit working in a few months.
Ordered this on May 25. Now, only one of the 4 sides will toast. Have to put a piece of bread in, let it toast, then turn it around. Forget about using the other side!

I use a toaster primarily for bread and English muffins and had one of those fancy (and expensive) models that never did the job right. This one does. A hot stone would work better
After ironing clothes since I was 10, I have now experienced the worst iron I've ever used by far. This iron takes an infinity to heat up, the "smart" steam system that's supposed to sense how much steam you need, is pretty stupid - translate - nothing needs steam unless you shake the iron first. Heavy and cumbersome to use, it really doesn't even remove the wrinkles at the appropriate settings and burns at higher settings. It also spits and stains materials. The angle for water access is also difficult to use. Even when the iron is turned off, it has an annoying ticking sound that I can hear across the room and I'm hard of hearing! I've tried giving it a couple of months and I hate it even more. I would have returned it if I had been smart enough to save the box.
