My husband makes fun of how much I love this item, but it is great. I discovered its wonders when running late for a dinner party--I was frantically chopping herbs for a marinade when I remembered I had been given one of these. I grabbed it out, plopped the sage in the dish, gave a few pulls and squealed when I realized how fast and easy chopping had been. It works great with garlic, just about any herb (rosemary--not so great) and especially onions--no more tears! I've since used mine for making salad dressing, pesto, did I mention onions? and find it invaluable. It's one of those items that I'm always digging back out of the dishwasher to use again. Love it
We used to have one of the little white plastic towel holders. Cheap. When one of the "teeth" fell out, we could no longer use it. That's when I realized just how impossible it is to find those holders anymore. After a great deal of searching, I finally found this unit. It arrived today, and I love it. The rubber teeth will last - unlike the plastic. Works like a charm.
