Hands don't need to touch raw meat when making hamburgers with this patty press. Scoop ground beef or low-fat ground turkey into the press, push down lightly on the handle and gently twist, then remove handled press and press ring. The patty can stay right in the "keeper" container, which then stacks and interlocks with Tupperware's large hamburger freezer set. Or, the patty can be turned out of the flexible container onto a plate, ready to grill. To make patties uniform in size, measure the meat for each scoop; a 1/4-inch gap should be left between the patty and side of keeper for expansion when frozen. All three parts--the press, ring, and keeper--can go in the dishwasher for easy cleanup. Assembled, the press measures 5-3/4 by 3-1/2 inches. It carries Tupperware's lifetime warranty against chipping, cracking, breaking, and peeling. --Ann Bieri ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars I bought one for my husband
He is in charge of all the hamburger grilling around here because he makes them better than anyone else in the family. He really loves this wonderful tool. He says the meat doesn't stick at all, and he can make the burgers any thickness he wants. He hates having to get the hamburger under his fingernails, so this saves him all that trouble too.

We buy our meat in bulk, so this is a great way to freeze up individual patties too. We just stack them with a piece of waxed paper between each of the patties. I'm diabetic, so this regulates my portions very nicely too.

This is one of those little tools that you will never regret having in your kitchen because you will use it a lot. I use it on salmon patties, meat loaf patties, etc, and have even pressed some veggie/noodle combinations in it for freezing.

The greatest part is that you can put it in the dishwasher! I always prefer using the dishwasher with any item that comes in contact with raw meat.

It's a real pleaser for this Ma and Pa combination!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Size Hamburgers
I like this product. I'm able to make as thick or thin hamburgers that I want. Plus premake them and then freeze them for future use. Big plus in my household especially since I like to have a fresh (frozen) hamburger pattie to take with me to work and cook up in the toaster oven. Great little kitchen aid especially those with children, you can allow your child to assist in making the burgers without worrying if they will cut themselves or something else. Easy clean up too.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent
I got one of these after seeing it an remembering my mother using one for years. This item works very well and I have had no problem with the design, use or cleanup. Dishwashing is fine and essential for dealing with raw meats. I usually cover a surface with something like plastic wrap, than wax paper and than make my patties. This keeps my counters from being contaminated.

I was buying premade patties for portion control and to allow me to freeze small amounts. (I can add one burger to make a meat sauce, or cook up one pattie as a pizza topping, etc) But the cost of pre-made patties is higher. This allows me to buy at bulk prices and just make my own patties. I can also make my own *meat loaf* mixes rather than buying them...which is more expensive. Or mix some turkey for low fat with some lean beef for flavor and color for a *kid-fooling* substitute.

I'm very happy with my purchase of this and if it lasts as long as my moms did, I will have it for a very long time.

5-0 out of 5 stars I am im-pressed
Nothing is better looking than a thick, juicy hamburger made from Angus beef. Nothing creates a thick hamburger patty better than this. I've tried lots of methods and this works better than anything for creating perfect, bun-sized burgers.

5-0 out of 5 stars A nice little
kitchen aid. A good way to make burgers and gets them the size of the buns so there wont be more bun than burger. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't drop the lid into the can!
The most unique feature of this can opener is that it prevents the lid rom falling inside the can. This is both a huge convenience (how many times has a lid fallen into a can of soup or sauce and you have to fish it out?), but it's also just cleaner. The tops of cans can be easily contaminated - from mice in your home to contamination caused in transit from something spilling onto the lid. I'm not aware of any other openers with this feature.

The one drawback is that it's not as simplistic to use as it appears. However, once you get the hang of it it works perfectly.

Once you've used this opener you won't want to go back.

5-0 out of 5 stars a manual can opener with effortless turning
Tupperware has a great product here. My old swingline wasn't cutting well so I was ready for a replacement. I won this at a Tupperware party and thought I would just give it away. After trying it, I can't part with it. The lid comes off without a sharp edge. The safety factor is worth the cost alone. It stays clean all the time which I couldn't say for the swingline. The only negative - the mechanism is so quiet that my cat never knows when I open a can of tuna until she smells it. She always came running at the slightest sound of that old can opener even if it was canned peaches.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect For Those Not Strong Handed
After having surgery on my right (dominant) hand I needed something that would make opening cans easier. Sure my husband could help, but what about when he was at work?

This can opener is extremely easy to use. It might take some getting accustomed to, since it sits on top of the lid, rather than the side of the lip. Since it doesn't touch the contents of the can, washing it is virtually a non-existant issue. Sure, you will want to give it a wipe down here and there, but thats about it!

You won't believe how smooth it cuts, and with little effort either. Another thing you won't believe is the sturdy build of this can opener. It's not cheap plastic no way! Don't let the price sway you it's really reasonable when you consider the life you get out of tupperware. I think this can opener will last me for the long haul.

5-0 out of 5 stars Smooth Operation
I absolutely love this can opener. It is the most effortless opener I have ever used. Once you get use to the face down, rather than sidewards removal, you will appreciate the total ease of operation. It's like skating on ice... such smoothness. The lid comes right off and leaves no rough edges because the whole top is removed! Safe and well worth it!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great can opener!!!
This is a wonderful can opener!!! It is easy to use and leaves no sharp edges. It cuts along the side instead of the top. My husband even enjoys opening cans now!! It can be a little tricky at first to figure out how to position, but once you've done it a few times it becomes second nature. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great piece of tupperware...but for marinades? I dont know
I bought this when I got tired of marinating in plates, bowls and mismatched plastic ware. I liked it. Tupperware is a great product, lasts forever (If you dont believe me, look at all the wintage tupperware on auction sites) washes well and over time will eventually become cost effective.

Having said all that...sometime after buying and using it, happily...I found that marinating meats (this doesnt work as well with chicken on the bone) is much easier and space saving if i put my meat and marinade in a ziploc...get all the air out and seal it. It takes up much less room in the fridge and requires alot less turning because when you remove the air the marinade surrounds the meat (depending on the thickness) more effectively.

I would say this is a good tupperware product if you need something of this size for multiple uses..and can justify using it many times for many things. I wouldnt buy it just for use to marinade or just for storage. I think if i had to buy it again..I would want to be able to say that I could use it several times a week for storing (baked good, maybe deli, snacks) marinading, transporting items...etc. I think that is the only way this would make a *solid* purchase.

5-0 out of 5 stars Double Duty
You can use this item for marinating flank steak or chicken, etc. Or you can store cut up vegetables or basically anything in the refrigerator. We marinate the flank steak in Italian Dressing. Then, you just flip it over in the container half way into the marinating process.

The lid is nice and high and while you could not marinate a 7-lb chicken, you could marinate the pieces.

Right now, there are over 20 homemade muffins stored happily on the counter in this container.

So many uses!

5-0 out of 5 stars A Marinaders Dream!
I own two of these and would recommend them to anyone who is serious about marinading. The insides of the double lids have raised 'knobs' allowing for the marinade to fully coat the food. Another great feature is that you just turn the container over to marinade on the opposite side. When done grilling, it also serves as a great container to keep food warm, serve from and even to store leftovers in the fridge. Two thumbs up!

5-0 out of 5 stars Marinate and save
Using the Tupperware Season-serve you can save money by buying and marinating tougher cuts of meat. The design allows the use of less marinade to still coat the large quantities the marinator holds. It's easy to use and works perfectly for what it was designed for. ... Read more

Ideal for blending pancake batter and then placing it in the refrigerator to develop, this 2-quart combination mixing-and-storing pitcher also is great when making muffins and many other foods, including scrambled eggs for the whole gang. 5-0 out of 5 stars Use it for Everything and Have Three
I used this mix and stor pitcher for everything - mixing, less mess, storing and recently for the holidays used all three of mine for assembly line bread prep and mixing. Dishwasher safe. Just one is enough for half a dozen or more uses.

5-0 out of 5 stars Still in my kitchen 15 years later!
I have the 1987 version of this - slightly different shape with a red lid. It's one of the very few items still IN my kitchen from 1987 - most have been gradually replaced. Not this little guy. I use it for everything under the sun, and it works especially well for making waffles in the waffle iron. It got a lot of use when my kids were small, though. Because of the size and the handle, it was a favorite for the kids helping to mix stuff in the kitchen. It was easy for them to handle and unbreakable. Better than any bowl in a kids baking set. Plus if you're smart, you can teach fractions on the sly! :-) A great product and worth every penny.

5-0 out of 5 stars great item for mixing food
It is a great item to use in the kitchen to mix your favorite
receipes in. I enjoy and use mine all the time. If you
mixed up a receipe and it is not all gone, then you can put a
lid on it and store it in the refrigerator for the next day.

it for pancakes, it can be mixed and then pour the batter into
the skillet. Works beautiful. Tupperware wins again. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars "Big Bowl" is a family favorite
I got one of these in 1992 while living in Australia and it's utility really surprised me. Tossing salads for parties is a breeze in it. I only brought a few things back to the states with us and Big Bowl was one of the essentials. We used it for so many picnics and potlucks it became a joke with family: "Just bring it in 'Big Bowl', my sister would say" Sadly, I melted mine on the hot burner of a stove (an accident!) and miss it dreadfully. I look forward to when it's available again!

3-0 out of 5 stars Great idea, limited usage
This is a great idea, but it's design has limited usage.

The idea of storing an onion here, is about it's best use, but the flat "hook" means it doesn't hang very well off my shelves. It needs to be curved/notched, or tapering into a full hook to hang between the shelf wires.

An awesome invention would be to insert a magnet onto the botton, to stick onto shelves in the unused top space under the wire racks.

Because of it's design it sits in the crisper, where I promptly forget about the "forget me not" holder.

5-0 out of 5 stars how about "squash me not"?
Being a good californian, I didn't get these for onions and tomatoes, I got them for hot peppers and kumquats. They work really well for small produce that would otherwise fall to the bottom of the crisper - the current handful of serrano peppers has been in there for almost two months, getting used one at a time, and is almost as fresh as the day it was bought at the farmer's market.

The containers are bigger than I expected (about a "C" cup), and do stick out a bit, which takes up headspace on the shelf below where they are hung. The lids also don't seal as perfectly as most tupperware, since the hinge doesn't fold flat (not a dealbreaker, but I wouldn't use these for liquids). I had no problem getting the hooks to work with my tempered glass Whirlpool shelves.

If you have a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer I would suggest hanging these on the side *away* from the freezer - the freezer-side fridge wall is colder than the air in the fridge, which will cause condensation on the flat side of the forget-me-not, which eventually will cause mold (probably ok for keeping a grapefruit overnight, but a problem after keeping peppers for a month or so).

Overall, these are well worth the money. I'm glad I bought them.

5-0 out of 5 stars "Forget me Nots"
With the forget me nots they are an item that you diffently can't not have. You will never loose that onion ever again.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it and so does my new fridge!
This is a great item from Tupperware! It does a great job of saving leftover onions and tomatoes as well as saving space. I have a new fridge and it hangs fine (you should hang it on the side and not on the front). But, even if it doesn't hang on your shelf, it is still a great way to seal up leftovers. A great design and great way to preserve food!

5-0 out of 5 stars I pour, measure, shake, and drink all in one!!
I pour, measure, shake, and drink all in one!!

I have two of these. One is always in the dishwasher and the other is always ready to go. They are wonderful to use for protein or diet shakes. Although the plastic lid is not quite as sturdy as the older models they still do a great job.
The new feature on these models is the measurement markings. That is a big plus over the vintage models. These work and perform very well and are great for Protein Shakes.

3-0 out of 5 stars Works fine, could be better!
What, are some of you on the Tupperware payroll? It's a good product, but not great. Strong points: The cup itself is sturdy and has good measuring indicators. Weak points: The two-piece cap portion is too flimsy and doesn't snap into place as crisply as it should. It doesn't rinse as well as I would have hoped, so you need a brush to get all the protein powder particles out of nooks and crannies. All in all, I should have bought one, not two. But I wish there was a competing product from Rubbermaid! And you can have it in any color you want, as long as it's blue.

3-0 out of 5 stars the older ones are better
I've been using an antique one of these (about 15 years old, in bright yellow) for about five years. It's perfect for mixing up and pouring pancake, waffle, or crepe batter. The markings on the old one were long gone, though, so when I found the new ones on sale, I jumped at the chance to save myself the trouble of washing a measuring cup too.

Unfortunately, the flip cap on the new one is much flimsier than on the old one - and because it's not really stiff, it's really hard to snap on to the spout. Tupperware is usually really good about design issues, so I'm not sure why they missed this. But I've gone back to the older one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Useful, travels well, and stands up to the test.
... Because of my new diet I have to eat and drink more protien powders and the like as suppliments for my exercise program. This works great! The top stays on with limited tossing around. It's nice to have a drink that when you knock it over, won't spill. It hasn't scratched up yet after 20+ uses; still looks good as new.

My one complaint is that the seal on the top that closes the hole in the lid was hard for me to get on there precicesly; but I also have bad carpal tunnel .....P>All in all, it was worth every penny. I even got a second one I use for cooking now.

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have kitchen gadget!
If you were to only use this for gravy, it's worth the money! I like to shake up my cornstarch and water in this container to make gravy...it is perfect! I've used it for instant pudding once also, and it does a pretty decent job...I highly recommend it! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for pasta
Now I have a solution where I can shake a colander full of pasta and not lose it all over the sink. It works like a standard colander, but the enhancement of a lid adds the ability to twist and shake to get more water out.

The lid also serves as a colander in it's own right, and that's for items which are served well by a shallow colander. ... Read more

Major benefits come from this mini colander. Holding 2 cups, the colander is a perfect size for rinsing and draining individual portions of grapes, cherries, pasta, vegetables, and much more. The long handle allows the colander to double as a strainer for scooping surface fat and bay leaves out of a soup pot. Likewise, a slot on the handle allows it to fasten onto the rim of a bowl or pot for straining liquids. The One-Touch lid seals tightly so that foods can be shaken dry. Dishwasher-safe, the mini colander carries Tupperware's lifetime warranty against chipping, cracking, breaking, and peeling.--Ann Bieri ... Read more

Cookies never stick with this silicone mat. Placed directly on a cookie sheet or baking pan, the flexible, sticky-feeling mat keeps everything from delicate cookies to roasted meats and sweet potatoes from adhering to the pan and burning. No grease is needed and cleanup becomes super easy--simply wipe the mat with warm soapy water. The state-of-the-art silicone material provides even heat distribution during baking, so foods rarely over- or underbake. Measuring 11-1/2 by 16-1/2 inches, the mat is oven-safe to 425 degrees F, as well as safe for the microwave and freezer. Circles and measurements on the mat allow pie crust to be rolled out to just the right size. Makes an exceptional gift; every chef will want at least two. Stores rolled up or flat. --Ann Bieri ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Essential!!!
You will love this silicone baking mat! Place any food onto it, put it in to bake, and when you take it out the food will slide right off! It is easy to wash, in warm soapy water, and pat dry. This is so much better than getting out foil, spraying it with "non-stick spray", and throwing it away after using...

5-0 out of 5 stars Tupperware Ice Cream Scoop is NOT dishwasher safe!
I am a Tupperware Manager and I can tell you that the use & care instructions that come with this product specifically say that it is NOT dishwasher safe... you are supposed to hand wash and towel dry. Just a tip for those who own or plan to purchase this product, you should wash the scoop immediately after using it because the lactic acid in dairy products WILL cause chrome to pit. Also, none of the Tupperware products that have metal on them are supposed to be put in the dishwasher. Hope this helps! I have owned several name-brand scoops and this one is my favorite. I bought it before I joined Tupperware and it is a hot seller!

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect
Of all the ice cream scoops I have ever purchased, this one is the best. The head is shaped so that the point really digs right into the coldest ice cream. Of course you can heat the zinc core up in boiling water and then it will even be easier.

I think it is the weight of the scoop that really helps. It is quite heavy and design is very professional. Will last you for a long, long time!

Skip the rest, buy the best!

4-0 out of 5 stars No more straining to scoop ice cream
Yes, it's a little pricey but a great investment. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because you can't just toss it in the dishwasher. It's great and doesn't strain your wrist when your trying to scoop. It basically melts the ice cream while you are scooping it. Just make sure you rinse it off after using it to avoid it pitting the metal. This is worth the money!!

2-0 out of 5 stars Not the best out there....
Yes, the Tupperware scoop lives up to most of it's claims. But I want to share with you that there is a better scoop out there. The Tupperware scoop is very heavy and requires you to run it under hot water first. The Pampered Chef has a scoop very similar to this that uses the heat from your hand and is immediately ready to slice right through even the most frozen of icecreams. No, I'm not a consultant, just a happy customer. One word of warning for both of these products: don't leave the scoop in the box, even for a minute, it will melt all the way to the bottom. (I say this from experience)

5-0 out of 5 stars dream scoop...
This sturdy, strong scoop is simply great. The handle is wide enough and long enough to grip easily and the scoop is generous but not too large for smaller, one pint ice-cream containers--as spade scoops often are. This scoop is easy to use--just press it into the ice-cream and run it through the surface. It seems to do the work for you, lifting up a curl of ice-cream as you scoop.

I have a minor hand injury and usually prefer Oxo products, but this scoop is just fine and easy to use. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Because it employs six blades instead of one, this hand-powered machine works much quicker than a single knife blade and makes it unnecessary to bring out a food processor for a small chopping task. Perfect for onions, hard-boiled eggs, cheese, nut, and herbs, the chopper comes with a base to contain food, or it can be used on any cutting surface without the base. Pressing down the machine's knob plunges a wave-shaped stainless-steel blade, and each time the spring-loaded plunger springs back the blade rotates a little so chopping is uniform and thorough. Housed in rugged, transparent plastic, the chopper stands 9 inches high. One of Tupperware's handy food-preparation tools, the chopper is dishwasher-safe and carries a 90-day guarantee against defects. --Fred Brack ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Great . . . at first
This chopper was wonderful at first. Easy to chop things, easy to clean. But the flimsy plastic cracked within 3 months. I have had it now 10 months and it is falling apart. I do use it alot, but I would expect it to last longer - especially coming from Tupperware. My mother and sister have another brand (from another company that mainly sells at home parties) and theirs have lasted much longer.

5-0 out of 5 stars Machine on the Go
I bring this chopper with me when I go to my in-law's house to make Egg Rolls. The ingredients are bits and pieces of different vegetable and the chopper is just great to chop them all (especially onions). The fact that my mother-in-law does not have to take out her "huge" food processor and clean 'em up afterwards is a relief for me. She actually hinted that she wants one for Christmas.

4-0 out of 5 stars Tupperware Chopper Machine
The Tupperware Chopper Machine is a wonderful gadget for the small chopping tasks around the kitchen. You can use it with it's own base or on a chopping board.
I use it to chop up onions, garlic, peppers, nuts.
Small projects that you would usually need a small knife and take you several minutes only takes a few seconds with Tupperware's chopper. It is easy to clean and to assemble.
Unlike the other choppers I know that Tupperware has a Lifetime warranty so I'm not worried about the expense of having to ever buy another hand chopper. ... Read more

A neat alternative to a messy decorator bag, this ingeniousdevice squeezes out ornamental frostings and whipped cream for addingprofessional touches to sweets and converts vegetable purees intoappetizing shapes. It's also great for creating pretty hors d'oeuvresout of cream cheese blends, chicken-liver mousse, and other savories.Five nozzles in different shapes come with the plastic decorator ball:closed star, open star, line thread, shell, and filler tube. Thenozzles twist tightly into the ball's seal, which is virtually airtightand leak-proof. The seal is rigid and the ball's bottom is pliable.Squeezing the bottom extrudes contents in a controlled flow--and,unlike a bag, requires only one hand, leaving the other free tomanipulate whatever's being decorated. The nozzles store inside the4-1/4-inch-diameter ball, which has a cap so leftovers can be stored inthe refrigerator. 3-0 out of 5 stars I so wished I liked this one...
The tips are fine... the unit that holds the filling is not the right material. I don't know if it needs to be made of a different material, or vented...or a different shape but....

Tupperware usually comes out with some real winners. In theory this should have been one. It just falls short of the promise.

Until they work out the design flaws (and I will be looking forward to that very much) I will stick to pastry tips and a zip loc bag...which works fine and doesn't need clean-up.

Three stars for the concept though

4-0 out of 5 stars good concept
this porduct is very invovative but require more modifcation in plastic matrials to be more flexbile

5-0 out of 5 stars No more pastry bags -- thank goodness!
This cute and nifty little plastic ball is easier to fill and handle than a pastry bag, and you can store and refrigerate food in it for later use. I was thrilled at how easily I was able to pipe lines of little rosettes all over my son's birthday cake. I almost find excuses to use this, like piping stars of mashed potato all over my shepherd's pie or swirls of whipped cream over Belgian waffles. There is indeed a bit of stuff that gets left inside the ball -- not all of it can be piped out by squeezing the ball -- but that happens with a pastry bag, too. There's always some waste and/or clean-up involved when you want to get fancy with your food. I guess the real advantages here over pastry bags are (1) the ease of handling (just squeezing; no oozing out the top, as with a pastry bag), and (2) the ease of storage or refrigeration. All in all, I am glad to have this tool.

1-0 out of 5 stars Complete waste of money
This product is a great idea, but it just doesn't work. The container has to be completely full in order for it to work at all. The amount of force you have to use in order to decorate just one cookie is enough to wipe you out. I love that you can store the left over ingredients right inside and that the different tips can store inside when you are through, but the actual decorating is just too much work.

2-0 out of 5 stars I love Tupperware, BUT...
Maybe it's just me, but this little gadget just didn't work for me. I tried to decorate some cookies, but you have to have so much frosting in it to get it to come out smoothly, that it just doesn't work for little jobs. Plus, I found it kind of a mess cleaning it up. Maybe if I were frosting an entire cake and had the ball full of frosting it would have worked better. Too bad, because it's a great idea! I think the problem is that the ball is not flexible enough to work with small amounts of frosting. As with all Tupperware products, the quality of the plastic is very good--it just needs a little refinement. ... Read more

Most garlic presses mince cloves of peeled garlic, but this clever gadget does more than that. An integral stainless-steel lever helps peel cloves of garlic in two ways: the metal edge neatly snips the end off a clove, and a clove placed under its widest part is lightly smashed. Both techniques render the garlic easy to peel. Then the garlic is placed in the metal cage, the large ergonomically designed handle squeezed, and the garlic is minced through the cage holes. Toss the gadget in the dishwasher for easy cleanup, or swing open the parts and give it a quick once-over with a dish brush.
