Amazon.com Review

Suitable for large areas and heavy traffic, the 12-amp Fantom Falcon canister vacuum delivers versatile applications in a user-friendly design. The vacuum's motorized carpet nozzle features a 12-inch cleaning path and automatically adjusts for changes in carpet height. An additional power head is included for vacuuming bare floors. For accommodating delicate rugs and surfaces, the nozzle also comes with variable suction control. Completely bag-free, the Falcon collects dirt and debris in a transparent dust cup that includes a HEPA filter. Pleated for maximum surface area, the HEPA filter traps allergens and irritants as small as 0.3 microns, for cleaner floors and cleaner air. When the cup is full, just unhook it from the canister, release the bottom panel, and empty into a trashcan. An integrated lid keeps this process tidy. The HEPA filter itself can be tapped clean for regular maintenance and should be replaced about every six months for optimum performance. An additional washable post-motor filter should be replaced about every 3 months.

Structurally, the Falcon is sturdy, with components that fit together without extra bulk and release without flimsiness. The chrome handle telescopes for variation in use, and the power nozzle has its own power switch. For above-floor cleaning, the vacuum features a tidy hatch full of onboard tools, including a crevice tool, an upholstery attachment, a dusting brush, and a filter-cleaning brush. It also has a headlight, automatic cord retraction, and a motor-protective thermostat that cuts power to prevent overheating. The canister must be stored horizontally, but the hose detaches to make this simpler. --Emily Bedard ... Read more

Features

  • Telescoping handle, headlight, and onboard tools
  • True HEPA filter removes 99.97 percent of airborne particles
  • Convenient bagless dirt collection
  • Motorized power head with 12-inch cleaning path
  • Automatically adjusts for changes in carpet height

2-0 out of 5 stars worst vacuum ever
I own the fantom falcon for 6 months and the belt has gone bad on the power head. I placed an order for another belt and the fantom company told me it was on back order and it would take 6 to 8 weeks to get a new one sent to me. "WOW" no vacuum for that long, I have wall to wall carpet with a persain cat. I also don't like the way the hepa filter is on the basket it sits right in the middle of where you collect the dirt and that collects most of the cat hair and dirt> I always had to use a air compressor to blow out the dirt every time I used It. Please anyone looking to buy this vacuum that doesn't have a air compressor and has wall to wall carpet better think again.

1-0 out of 5 stars Made cheap and it shows!
I bought this vacuum at a local wholesale store today. I brought it home, put it together, and vacuumed for about five minutes until the hose ripped. I'll be returning it this evening. I didn't realize it was made by Euro-Pro, the same people who make the Shark line of products--which I was also disappointed with. The other vacuum didn't have much suction, and wasn't worth the money. Look elsewhere to spend your money, this brand is all Lemon!

2-0 out of 5 stars Fantom falls flat
This vacuum is just not as powerful as it boasts to be. I always felt it was inferior, but getting a second opinion sealed it. I had my grand piano tuned, and the tuner asked to borrow the vacuum to clean out some dust. When I gave him this fantom to use, he told me "you have a pretty weak vacuum here". It couldn't even efficiently clean dust from a piano. the vacuum is only 6 months old, but I can't take it back, so I'm going to put an ad in the paper to get rid of it. Another thing is I find it difficult to store in a closet, and a pain to drag around. I'll be going back to an upright model, and I'm open to suggestions. :O)

2-0 out of 5 stars Beware of Falcon
We were seduced to buy a Falcon bagless by the stylish European design and the good reputation of HEPA filter. What we've got really stinks... but not exactly in a sense we expected it. It is as noisy as a Russian bomber and requires almost as much care as a newborn baby (clean pre-engine filter and HEPA filter after each use, buy new filters every 3 to 6 months). And the cleaning of the dust container and HEPA filter is a pure pain -- you need a gas mask for that. On top of that all, our Falcon was not flying high -- it broke down on the second use. When we checked the instruction for a list of repair centers, it turned out that there aren't any -- they want you to mail the whole thing to them, pay for the shipping and insurance and send them money.. to cover costs of shipping it back.
Isn't that what nightmares are about?

2-0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the fantom lightning
i bought the fantom falcom canister vacuum cleaner to replace my old fantom lightning which i loved but the motor burnt out on it. when i recived it i opened the box, and assembled it when i started vacumming with the falcon it did a wonderful job but after awhile i noticed that it wasnt picking up as good as before. so i empied the dirt container and ammeidlety noticed the prolbem. the filter in the middle of the dirt container was all clogged up with dirt. so i tapped it aginst my trash can and dirt went everywhere. the old lightning canister didnt have a filter in the middle of the dirt container. i think that fantom has really taken a downfall of quality ever since euro-pro bought the company. ... Amazon.com Review

A hand vacuum with weak suction is no more than clutter. That’s why the Euro-Pro Mini Turbo Shark vacuum packs a lot of bite into its diminutive form. With 400 watts of power, the unit delivers a surprising amount of suction, so it’s a great tool to have on hand in the kitchen, garage, shop, or office. It makes quick work of dry spills and debris and can also be used for dusting in nooks and crannies with the included attachments. One thing to note: 400 watts of power does come at a price, and this hand vacuum is no kitten. The sound is not especially unpleasant--it’s just loud--but you probably won’t be able to crank it on if the baby is sleeping.

Easy to manipulate, the vacuum has a comfortable handle and a simple rocker power switch. The bagless dirt collection cup pops off easily for emptying, and the interior filter is washable. Conversion to attachment cleaning is also straightforward--the flexible hose, crevice tool, and brush fit snugly into the Shark’s oval mouth. About the size of a youth football, the hand vac measures 8-1/4 inches long, nose to tail, and stands 5-1/2 inches high and 3-3/4 inches wide. It weighs less than two pounds and carries Euro-Pro's one-year warranty. --Emily Bedard ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive, light duty vacuum
I purchased this vacuum as part of a package deal with Amazon. It works fine for doing a quick vacuum job in a car, or picking up Goldfish cracker bits in the carpet. For the price, it's worth it. Don't expect to use this to pick up chunks of dirt or marbles...get an upright or canister vac for that.

5-0 out of 5 stars It does its job for a reasonable price
I got this vacuum for $4.99 while it's on sale at Amazon.com, my intention to get this vacuum was not for cleaning the whole house but for car or minor dirt at corners. I tried it and the suction power is very strong. I have two dogs at home and their hair is everywhere, this vacuum surprised me because sometimes a $39.99 vacuum does not even suck the hair like this one does. For those who think this vacuum sucks, my suggestion is: if you want to 'clean' the carpet thoroughly, get a $200 vacuum, not this mini vacuum, this mini is not intended to clean big area.

5-0 out of 5 stars Love it!
Ok, so I only paid $1.00, intended to give it to my Mom for her car, & I was not expecting much because I have the larger shark which is cumbersome due to the shoulder strap.. I ended up using myself in the bathroom to tidy up the kitty litter bits that get sprinkled on the floor and in the corners....It worked wonderfully, and have since used it to catch dust bunnies and for quick touch ups....It has become my favorite tool...So, no, it does not replace a regular size vacuum, look elsewhere for large jobs...This does exactly what it was designed for...
Unfortunately, I would like to have another one, & it is no longer in stock on website...

5-0 out of 5 stars this is definitely worth the money!!
a bargain! found at a closeout store for 19.99. only paid 4.99 here. I bought it to use it in out extra bathroom to clean up cat litter tracked from the cat box. It picks up every speck of litter plus some!! when i see it go for 4.99 again, I will buy one for every person in my family for x-mas. So, get you one. You will not regret it!! Also to add.....it has an extra long cord.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good bang for the buck
This was dirt cheap and I guess being clearanced. For it's price, I can NOT complain!!! It gets the job done. I can't speak for other reviewers, but I would never expect this to replace an upright or canister vacuum. It cleans up my desk and bookshelves just fine ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Euro-Pro Shark customer service stinks
I bought this iron at Target and after a few months I am having problems with the iron. It leaks water and the water stains my clothes. I went to their website the only place to get some information to see how I can correct this problem or to contact this manufacturer and the site does not reconize the model number EP480. They don't a phone number where to call and now I don't where to get service since it's been a few months the store can't do nothing. I wasted $54.

2-0 out of 5 stars Euro-Pro Shark Professional Iron
I liked the weight of this iron (too many are too light and do not get wrinkles out or iron a sharp crease) and I liked the padded handle. Especially I like the very long cord.
However, the heat dial is under the handle and extremely difficult to see, and because the window for water level is blue, it too is difficult to see.

5-0 out of 5 stars Packs a punch at a great price
For $49.99, there is little competition that offers the same feature set. It's got the smooth stainless steel plate, excellent build, and powerful steaming and heating capabilities. And you don't need distilled water. There isn't much that a $150 iron can do better than this one.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good iron but a few problems...
We enjoy this but:
The steam button sometimes does not come up after it is pressed.
The automatic shut-off cannot be over-ridden by tipping the iron as specified in the manual.
It does make a strange smell and occasionally spit out small white pieces even though we broke it in as specified.
This is still a good iron: the cord is very long and it gets good and hot (we use the hottest as we iron mostly cotton clothes.)

1-0 out of 5 stars Inferior Product
I have found this iron to be a hazard and I have found this company to be impossible to deal with. A customer service representative hung up on me when I politely asked to speak to a supervisor in August (I bought the iron in February). This iron is actually dangerous when it spits water everywhere. Furthermore, it has ruined some expensive linen clothing of mine. I actually have tried two of these, returning one to the store where I bought it. The second iron had all the problems as the first one. The Euro Pro company requires the customer to spend his own money to return the product for repair and then to pay another $9.50 to have it returned from them. This is another $15.00 or $20.00 on top of the $50.00+ that one pays for the iron. I sent a certified letter to them over a month ago (at the cost of $4.42) which explained my problems and my desire for a refund -- not a repaired iron or another iron. They received that letter one month ago and have ignored me completely. In addition to spitting water everywhere, this iron leaks water constantly and shuts down in the middle of my ironing -- not just when it is left unattended. I would not use one of these irons if it were given to me. ... Read more

Although it's compact and lightweight, this little canistervacuum contains a 1,200-watt motor that produces exceptional suctionpower while offering the convenience of bagless operation. The canistermeasures just 14 by 9 by 9 inches and weighs about 10 pounds, lightenough to be carried around by its shoulder strap for cleaningfurniture, shelves, drapes, and lampshades. For vacuuming bare floors, carpets, and rugs while tagging along on its two wheels, the vacuumcomes with a 10-1/2-inch-wide nozzle and two extension tubes. Thenozzle/tube assembly connects to a curved wand extending from aflexible hose that attaches to the air-intake duct. Two otherattachments are included: a dust brush and crevice tool.

The large, transparent dust cup easily unlocks from the canister foremptying. The dust cup has a detachable filter that can be washed whenit clogs. A button on the vacuum's top automatically retracts the17-foot power cord when pressed with foot or thumb, and the vacuum canthen be stored either upright or flat. Either way, there is a methodfor locking the nozzle/tube assembly to the canister, and theattachments then slip onto posts attached to the tubes. The vacuumcarries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars overheating deaths
I purchased these items through the t.v. specials. Very nicely priced and perfect for my space and cleaning needs. BIG PROBLEM:
The first one died on me after five uses doing minor cleaning - mostly cleaning stairs and cleaning out my car. I only had it about almost a year. It overheated, shut off and died on me. I started using the other one that I used for upstairs which had more use - light rug cleaning and use to suck out air out the travel and storage packing bags. That one also overheated, and shut off. No resusitation. Perfect little easily manageable and effective vaccums , but for.....I want these repaired at least, but found it difficult to get contact information to see if this can be done. After this investment of hard earned cash and with now "surplus hoses, brushes, etc.", which I will E-BAY. I won't buy another of these. I am seriously considering a small Eureka or Miele portable after this experience. My slightly larger compact Eureka from my apartment days lasted five years. I still have it but it has lost most of the suction power. But at least I got my my money's worth. It was seventy dollars at the time. FRUSTRATING!

1-0 out of 5 stars WORST PURCHASE I EVER MADE
THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE, IT HAS NO POWER AT ALL, AND GETS HOT REALLY FAST, IT'S OK FOR SMALL PLACES OR FAST PICK-UPS, BUT IT DOESN'T DO THE JOB I NEED DONE IN MY HOUSE, ANOTHER THING TO STORE IN THE SHED

4-0 out of 5 stars This little guy has power!
I love this thing! I throw it over my shoulder and head down the stairs and continue from the carpeted areas to the hard wood floors without having to switch anything. My old Hoover (an upright) was great, but it was so bulky when it came to vacuuming the carpeted stairs. This is not bulky and there are no bags to worry about!

4-0 out of 5 stars Does Good Job Sucking Dead Bugs Out of the Window Sills
It's not for carpet. Don't even think about getting this to solve a dog hair problem unless you have hard floors only. However, for those pesky little corner jobs, window sills, light fixtures, inside drawers, it can't be beat. Very light weight but lots of sucking power. Here are some of the things it has taken care of:

1. Dead oriental lady bugs (the biting kind) in the window sill

2. Cobwebs and general ickiness from the track of the sliding door

3. a jar of little screws I knocked over and didn't have time to pick up by hand before company was arriving.

4. Cat litter (excellent job on this)

5. Dog food

This little vacuum and a good upright model should take care of most of your vacuuming needs.

2-0 out of 5 stars Good on floors, bad on carpets.
As advertised, this vacuum has fairly good suction. However, since there is no agitator it doesn't work well at all on carpets. It does do a pretty decent job on floors though.

I purchased it to use in an apartment I had to live for a long-term work project so I was looking for something inexpensive. This fit the bill. When I get back to the house I think this will make an excellent car vacuum.

As mentioned by the other reviewers, it does get very hot but it hasn't shut itself off on me...yet. ... Read more

A powerful convection toaster oven, the 1,500-watt Bravetti Platinum Pro from Euro-Pro can do everything from warm croissants to grill a pork loin. The unit features a simple control panel with a power light and separate dials for temperature, function, and time. The temperature control ranges from 180 to 450 degrees F, while the function dial provides a choice of keep warm, broil, bake, toast, or grill. The 15-minute timer includes a printed toasting guide and comes with a stay-on option. The oven’s design incorporates thermostatic temperature control with lower and upper elements, for thorough and precise heating. The convection system--automatic on the broil, bake, and toast settings--gently circulates air in the oven for moister food, quicker cooking, and less energy consumption. Moderately roomy, the oven toasts six slices at a time and accommodates bakeware up to 9 inches long. Both cookie sheets can be used simultaneously. The oven features stainless-steel housing and a tempered safety-glass door, which is curved for better viewing. The interior is coated with aself-cleaning surface, and the stay-cool plastic handle is comfortable and wide. Accessories include a drip pan, two baking racks, a crumb tray, a rack handle, two cookie sheets, and a broiler rack. 1-0 out of 5 stars good idea bad execution
We got one of these Sunday (Oct. 10, 04). Returned it on the 12th.
Here is what we experienced. Following directions we unpacked and turned the unit on high to "burn it off". This resulted in copious quantities of smoke and unpleasant smells (like a machine shop). Thank heavens our range has a large exterior vented hood. We noticed too that the fan became increasingly noisy to the point of being annoying. Additionally the door began to bind and not close properly. When cooled the door was better but not right. This became progressively worse.
It did make decent toast but between the noise and the door I was concerned. We didn't bother to try much else in it other than some toaster strudel (which again cooked very well but noisily).
I did like the fact that it's heavy and the non skid feet are nice. Also the extra accessories (cookie sheets, pizza stone, etc.) were nice touches. I would have preferred no accessories and more quality in exchange.
A glaring safety fault was also discovered. When you open the door it does NOT shut off. I find this oversight unforgivable.
Overall it's a nicely sized and outfitted product that falls WAY short of expectation. But than it's cheap and made in China so I guess I should not have expected different.
A point of interest. Why is it SO hard to find a reasonable selection of reasonable quality products of this type anymore?! This site lists like 100 or so products of this type but just try and find any kind of reasonable selection at ANY store.
End of rant.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Oven
I love this oven. It makes great evenly toasted toast. I bake pies in it and they come out really nice in half the time without heating up the kitchen. Has a pizza board included and if you like the crust softer its excellent! It will also keep your food warm with the keep warm feature which I really like. Has simple easy to understand directions. Comes with 2 cookie sheets and the cookies come out great too. I highly recommend this oven.

1-0 out of 5 stars Junk!
Customer service is non-existent, HSN is unhelpful, as is the warranty company that HSN used for the extended warranty. My wife never uses it and I've used it about 5 times when suddenly the knob cracked and fell off. Contacting several customer service people from HSN, Europro (who never answers their calls), and the warranty company who will fight you for hours until you just say screw it were useless. No websites to help, no replacement parts available. HSN should be ashamed to sell junk like this. Buy something else!

1-0 out of 5 stars bad news
I got this device to speed up cooking time. but it has never done anything but give me trouble. customer service is never avalible. i would tell people to shop h.s.n for ULTREX for quality products.

4-0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for...
I bought the Euro-Pro convection toaster oven because it was available and a lot less expensive than the competitors. I have never owned a convection oven before, and I find this one to be just a little faster for overall cooking than prior toaster-ovens. I like it for its ease of use, multiple cooking surfaces and ease of cleaning. The 15 minute limit for timed cooking is too low for many items but I work around that. Toast takes too long, but I have a regular toaster. I was hoping the "convection" part of the oven would mean faster cooking times, but I see little difference between this oven and my conventional gas stove. Well, you get what you pay for, and what I got met my expectations. ... Read more

The 12-amp Fantom Thunderbolt canister vacuum is lightweight and quiet, but it also packs a lot of power into its very user-friendly design. The vacuum’s motorized power head has a wide, 15-inch cleaning path with a headlight to illuminate the cleaning area. Additionally, a lever on the head lets you manually adjust it to varying carpet heights. The chrome telescoping handle also adjusts to the height of the user, preventing back strain from bending while vacuuming. The Thunderbolt features a convenient bagless design that traps debris within an easy-to-empty transparent dust cup. A HEPA filter within the dust cup effectively removes 99.97 percent of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, leaving fewer irritants and allergens within the home.

At 26 pounds, this vacuum travels easily and its wide wheels make it especially sturdy for vacuuming on stairs. The Thunderbolt has three on-board tools—a crevice tool, an upholstery attachment, and a dusting brush—to cover a wide range of cleaning needs throughout the house. Fantom products have gone WAY downhill since they were acquired by Euro-Pro/Shark. This product may last past it's warranty, but likely will not. And you'll need a Lot of patience once you try and get any "customer service" from this company, because they don't know the meaning of the words. Although it has good suction and a power head.... It topples over all the time while vacuuming, gets clogged and my power head went dead and no one can fix or replace it.... so that's it! I only used it 6 times in 1 year, since I have maid service. Worst ever! This was my second and last Fantom!

1-0 out of 5 stars worst vacuum ever!
I bought this vacuum because I owned the Fantom Fury upright and thought it was great, but wanted a canister. It seemed perfect- bagless, hepa, light, etc. It is the worst vacuum I've ever had. My dustbuster has more suction. The parts are made of cheapo plastic. The "adjustable suction" nob keeps opening. The body keeps flipping over. The retractable cord keeps sticking. The worst part is that dust gets so caked onto the filter that I have to scrape each ridge with a toothpick between each use, or there's no suction at all. Today I plugged it in, and it didn't turn on. I just bought this piece of junk 3 months ago. This is the first review I've ever written, but I felt I had to warn everyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Vacuum for all ages
My mom makes me vacuum the carpets and the tile floors a lot. When our very old Kenmore canister's engine burnt out we needed a very good and powerful vacuum fast. Our floors get very dirty and we have shag carpet in the basement. Its best feature that didn't come on out old vac is the hard floor cleaning tool. I was looking at the reviews all the other people wrote and they don't know what they are talking about!! I really thing you should consider this canister vac.

1-0 out of 5 stars Very poor quality plastic
I had the previous Phantom vaccuum - the Lightning which was great. This one is so cheap and poorly put together. The unit is so loud, suction fair at best, and the plastic handle feels like it will snap at any moment. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't buy...
The first week was great, all down hill from there. The iron leaks uncontrollable, it's not sturdy, w/o steam it's impossible to get of wrinkles out of anything except polyester clothing. Cotton items, forget it. I recommend to NOT buy this item. Target should remove this from its inventory.

1-0 out of 5 stars Noah could've built an ark w/ all the leakage
I hate this iron. I really do. I saw this iron in the store, and it was love. It looked so sleak and nice. The first few months that the iron and I spent together were wonderful. Then, it started to leak a little. I could live with that. So today, I'm ironing, and the water just poured out the bottom. That's not what irons should do.

1-0 out of 5 stars Didn't last 3 months
I bought this iron 3 months ago. I was fairly content even though the iron didn't stay hot long enough when in the cordless mode and the auto shutoff worked intermittently. 3 weeks ago the iron started to leak a little bit of water from the back. I assumed that I was using the steam burst when the iron wasn't hot enough. Now the iron leaks to the point that I can't use the iron with water in it which means that I can't use the spray or the bust of steam.

The concept of a cordless iron is great it just didn't work well with this product.

3-0 out of 5 stars So far so good...
... I have only owned the iron for 2 months, so I haven't had the problem the other reviewers had... yet. So far, the iron works well. Nice and solid, not too heavy, but substantial enought to give a nice crease to anything. It's a little clunky when you're trying to put it back into its warming base, if you are using it as a cordless iron. If you don't care about the cordless aspect of this iron, however (which was the reason I bought it), look elsewhere. It's a little less streamlined than other irons, when you use it as a corded iron. However, if all you do is a little light ironing and you want the ease of a cordless iron, then you'll be pretty happy with this one.

In a year and a half of moderate to little use, the cord shorted out where it attaches at the long sleeve to the body to the iron. For an expensive iron, this is not acceptable. I would like to reach the company and request a replacement iron. ... Read more

A budget canister with versatile accessories, the Shark Roadster is equipped for hard floors as well as carpets. At 10.8 amps of power, it is reasonably lightweight and maneuverable, with large wheels for easy mobility and onboard tools for quick conversion. Dirt collection is bagged, and replacing the bags is a straightforward process, thanks to the wide-opening hatch. Though this is probably not the best machine for acres of wall-to-wall, it is handy for quick pickups, small carpeted areas, and bare floors. The plastic tools and accessories include a floor-to-carpet brush, a stretch hose, two extension wands, an upholstery tool, and a clever two-in-one brush and crevice attachment. Other useful details include a retractable cord, a full-bag indicator, manually adjustable suction, and large function buttons, Euro Pro covers the machine with a one-year warranty and throws in nine extra bags.--Emily Bedard ... Designed for minor household spills, dusty work areas, and dirty cars, the Euro-Pro rechargeable hand vacuum packs solid suction in a tidy package. A 4.8-volt machine, the vacuum is both slim and lightweight, not to mention unfettered by a pesky cord. Charge it overnight on the included wall-mount charging stand, and it’s ready to go. The vacuum has a handy tapered suction portal and comes with a built-in crevice tool for especially tight spots. Dirt collects in a dust cup that pops off for easy emptying. While transparent dust cups are somewhat handier, the sleek silver design of this model makes up for the minor inconvenience of not being able to see inside. The dust cup also includes a cloth filter to trap small particles. It can be rinsed clean for regular maintenance. --Emily Bedard ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars No Bite to this Shark!
Based on my satisfaction with my handheld (corded) Shark Euro Pro, I got this for cleaning up the small messes left in the wake of my three cats. Was I ever disappointed. This cordless vac picks up . . . nothing! Not dry crumbs of catfood, not litter, not little pieces of paper . . . NOTHING! Fortunately, I "purchased" this with a bonus gift certificate I received after buying another product, so I didn't waste my money. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOURS, EITHER!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars No power!
This vaccuum has no power. I charge it for a day or so, and get less than a minute of suction out of it before it begins to wear down. And even at full power, it doesn't pick up much of the dirt on my floor. I suggest splurging a little and buying something that actually works, even if it's a little more expensive, because this one is just a waste of your 20 bucks.

1-0 out of 5 stars poor quality
I got these in a local store 3 weeks ago. The silver coating peeled at first use. Not to say that it is limited in cleaning power, now it takes forever to recharge. I leave it on the charger as suggested in the manual, but now charging it for one whole day lasts me 30 seconds. These are cheap for a reason. They turn into a piece of junk before you know it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Look elsewhere
Works well for about a minute on a full charge. After 2 minutes, flow is so low that you could pick the dust up faster than this thing sucks it up. BTW, this is with a brand new filter.

3-0 out of 5 stars Not very powerful, but it is ok.
It is convenient to use and charge, although not that powerful as higher voltage hand wireless vaccum. ... Read more

Quiet is the operative word for this vacuum. Nevertheless, the 12-amp quiet performance motor is impressively powerful, and will pick up amazing quantities of dust and dirt you didn’t think you had. Allergy sufferers know how thoroughly the HEPA filter traps pollen, dust, and other allergens. The upright’s 13-inch power head features a light so you can see under couches and in dark corners, while its height adjusts for different thicknesses of carpet. Stored on board, the accessories include a 3-foot extension wand, 7-foot stretch hose, and a dusting brush for drapes and windowsills. A convenient carry handle and 30-foot power cord allow good accessibility to all rooms in the house. Best of all, the dust container unlatches and empties right into the trash, meaning no more bags to buy or change ever again. --Ann Bieri ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
First of all, if I could have given it no stars I would have.
Second, it overheats and shuts down CONSTANTLY.
Third, if you have pets, it is always clogged.
Fourth, The customer service is non-existant.

I will never buy a Euro-pro product again. To echo another review, I don't know how they are still in business.

1-0 out of 5 stars Horrible Vacuum!!!
This vacuum cleaner overheats and shuts down after 5 minutes of use. It takes me hours to complete vacuuming my apartment ( I can't even imagine having to vacuum a whole house with this useless contraption ). I dread having to use it and have to plan times when I can vacuum a few feet (or until it overheats) and then go back to it later. The belt just broke and now I'm having a hard time finding replacement belts to buy...they don't sell them on their website. I will NEVER buy a Shark product again. I'm surprised these people are still in business!!!

1-0 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY THIS JUNK
I've had the vacuum 6 months, three of which is worked and three of which I've been waiting for a replacement of the spinning brush. It's currently on backorder which means that a lot of people are having the same problem. The website is impossible to find and if you call them they are absolutely helpless! We finally broke down and bought another vacuum. Try Eureka, they're excellent.

2-0 out of 5 stars I found a belt at sears
My belt broke also and i bought a sears brand replacement belt for a kenmore vac. It is belt number 5287 for upright vacs. You will have to pull a little to fit it on but it works just like new. You get two belts for $4 and some change. You can buy it from sears.com also.

4-0 out of 5 stars Approach cautiously
This "Shark" thing comes with only one filter, so when I thought I'd misplaced it, I had to order this "combo pack."

Rather than "Shark," it should be called "Tasmanian Devil," because it howls and shrieks and twists in your hand to get away. It grows alarmingly hot in about 10 seconds. It only incidentally manages to clean things, while struggling mightily with you. Its existence is born of furor and chaos.

The new filter seem to work fine, but I clean it after every 30 seconds of use, because I am afraid that if it gets even a little clogged with dust, this "Shark" will explode.

The only time this machine seemed happy was when I accidentally vacuumed up about a pint of water.

The filters work great, I guess. But boy is this one scary nerve-wracking machine. ... Read more

The motorized rolling brush attachment for this hand-held vacuum works wonders at removing pet hair from car seats and mats, as well as from upholstery inside the house. A smaller brush delicately dusts lampshades, drapes, and blinds, while a crevice tool reaches into corners and along windowsills. The hand vac also cleans dry floor spills. Weighing 3.5 pounds, the vacuum feels well-balanced and is easy to use with its no-slip grip and thumb-operated on/off switch. High-capacity for extra-long running time, the 9.6-volt battery pack recharges for cordless use. Convenient features include an LED charging light, a dust-cup filter that easily detaches and washes clean, and a storage stand that keeps the vacuum and accessories organized. 1-0 out of 5 stars waste of money
This vacuum doesn't do anything. You are throwing money out the drain. It has virtually no suction. If it does manage to clean something up, the filter gets clogged in 2 seconds. Thus you spend more time emptying out the canister than vacuuming.

1-0 out of 5 stars This shark bites!
This is, quite possibly, the biggest waste of money ever. I purchased this vacuum after my hard-wood floors were refinished to keep then nice and clean. The first use must be after 24 hours of charging so I waited. The first use was ok. The battery ran out quickly (less than 15 minutes) and the attachment kept falling off. This was the best experience I ever had with this piece 'o junk. Later the battery life got even shorter, the attachments dared me to use them and the attachment with the spinning bristles stopped working altogether. I was so mad! My husband took it apart and was able to get it working again, but it still wouldn't stay attached. I finally solved my problem by buying a new vacuum. I now own one awesome vacuum and one great doorstop. If you are bent on getting this vacuum then you should just mail the money directly to me. You would be far less frustrated. Try the Bissell butler revoloution instead, I did. ... Read more

For two-in-one cleaning convenience, Euro-Pro combines a handheld vacuum and a stick vac into a single streamlined package with this cordless Shark. The 9-3/5-volt unit is suitable for quick pickups on bare floors as well as dry spills in workspaces, playrooms, or dining areas. Although, like many other cordless vacuums, this model may have less suction than its corded brethren, it is convenient for on-the-fly cleaning. The dirt cup is bagless with a built-in filter, and the high-capacity battery runs for extra long. Switching from the stick to the handheld configuration is straightforward, and the crevice attachment and dusting brush are handy in either mode. 5-0 out of 5 stars Works like a charm
This product works great for cleaning up after my children and dog. I use it to clean up the crumbs after the children eat and to clean up the dog hair(I have a long haired daschund). You do have to empty it out after every use, but other than that I think this hand vac works wonderfully.

1-0 out of 5 stars Useless
The price seemed right, but the amount I paid for this (on sale) was wayyyy too much. My model literally couldn't pick up the little peices of paper from a hole-puncher on my desk (or on my carpet). When I first used the carpet sweeper attatchment I thought it was working but it turned out that all the dirt was just getting picked up in the brush (that is, until the brush was full). The manual said it would work better after a few charges but I've put some serious socket/ carpet time into this vacuum with no results. Don't waste your money.

1-0 out of 5 stars Awful - returned it.
Maybe I got a defective unit, but it had very faint suction. Once there was the least little bit of hair or fuzz on the filter there was aboslutely no suction. Hold your hand up to the business end and you won't even feel air moving.

The instructions recommend emptying the vacuum and washing the filter after every use, but the filter is supposed to be allowed to dry for 24 hours. Makes no sense. ... Read more
