It can be used on any refrigerator connected to a 1/4 inch O.D. (outer diameter) metal or plastic water supply line (most refrigerators are connected this way). Once this refrigerator filter kit is installed, changing the filter is easy. The fittings are a quick connect type fitting with a shutoff valve built in, so no tools are required to change the filter - you don't even need to shut off the water.
