Good Choice for In-Home Juicing
Because juice should be consumed shortly after preparation, for the best nutrient benefit, I like that this unit puts the juice directly into a drinking glass. Our Juicelady Jr. Electric Juicer JL210A has provided numerous glasses of juice and continues to perform well. I am impressed with its functionality and the juice extracted via it.

I also like that the pulp is expelled into an detached basket, allowing it to be easily disposed of. This is especially beneficial when juicing concord grapes with the skin and stems on them. The juice goes into the glass and the rubbish is expelled out the other side/end. I have found that I like to put a small bag in the basket, this makes clean up super easy.

The small recipe book - Fresh Juice Recipes & Menu Planner - included with purchase provides a brief synopsis regarding the benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables. We read ways to improve our overall diet, how to prepare produce for juicing, and we are provided with approximately 83 recipes.

It is my opinion that the Juicelady Jr. is easy to use, quick to clean, and durable. The preferred method for washing is via warm sudsy water, clear rinse, and air-dried. The juice bowl, cover, blade basket, and plunger are top rack dishwasher safe, but it is recommended that this be an occasional option - not the normal method. Occasionally it takes a little extra time to clean the blade basket.

I recommend this juicer for those who desire a glass of fresh juice in the morning or at other prompted times. In conclusion, assembly and operation is easy, clean-up takes little time, and the juice extracted tastes great.

Pleasant Surprise
We were pleansantly surprised by this little juice extractor. Seems to have excellent power; considerably quieter than some other juicers and quite easy to clean and for us....the price was right! We love it and hope to use it most every day.

a pain...to clean!
Juicers are cool, untill you have to clean them. but I didn't know that before I wasted 80 bucks. that's why I'm telling you this right now. Like you, I was all excited about getting a juicer. I ran home and started making juice. And everything was good...until I had to clean it. Now, I don't have a dish washer, so I do things by hand. And cleaning this by hand is a pain!

Also, an other good thing to know about juicers and the juice they make, is that in order for the juice that you made to be healty, you MUST drink it right when you make it. Also, you have to drink VERY slowly. This is because the saliva in your mouth help break down the food before it gets into your stomach. And in order for you to get all the vitamins you juiced, you have to drink slowly.

All this stuff makes my juicer more of a pain then a salvation. If you want to drink healthy, I recommend you go to your local store, spend 2 bucks and buy a bottle of V-8

An excellent juicer for the price
This is my first juicer, and so far I've been quite happy with it. I've juiced many different things from apples to lemons to pears, kiwi, and strawberries. The juice is quickly, and efficiently separated from the fruit. There is no fear of pulp in your beverage with this baby! At least half of your time using the juicer will be spent cleaning the unit, which isn't that difficult. Most of the parts are dishwasher safe, but I find that spraying them down in the sink to rinse them off works well for the most part. The accompanying book contains many juice "recipes", which can be quite useful, but I've found that experimentation has been the most fun. Overall, I don't think you can find a more comprehensive and convenient juicer for the price.

Healthy fun for all the family
I've never had a juicer before; I was given this for my birthday, and it's lots of fun! It's surprisingly satisfying just to make different juices, zapping fruits and veggies through this machine, which runs pretty quietly and is v easy to use. The two speed settings are useful for harder or softer items.

I've also found that it's a great way to use up tired veggies - you know the ones you buy to make you feel all virtuous but don't really get round to using? Just zap them and drink them down! Plus almost no preparation, just a little chopping so that they fit, and remove any big stones from things like peaches. The recipes provided range from the delicious to the bizarre, esp the names of some of the drinks - Lung Tonic, anyone? - and it's also fun to experiment, I've found that adding an apple or orange can rescue pretty much everything. Only downside here is you can't do bananas as they'd clog up the machine - I guess I'll need a blender too.

It's also easy to take apart, but a bit of a palaver to clean with four separate parts. Follow their advice and line the pulp collector with a plastic bag, that will save you a lot of time. ... Read more

This is the best juicer I've found
My mom got this as a gift and absolutely just loves it we juice all kinds of vegetables and fruits. The best is the watermelon rind and pineapple rind can be juiced to get all the vitamins and nutrition and doesn't slow the machine down it just keeps on juicing just like a professional juicer well it is compared to the cheap brands that usually break within a few months of daily usage. I like the stainless it is much more stain resistant than the white plastic models which tends to discolor from especially carrot juice which I absoulety love to drink everyday mixed with apple it's delicious. Juicing is very healthy for you increasing your energy level naturally so you can get more out of life plus live longer, also loose weight. This juicer should last quite a long time it's motor is quite powerful. Most of the time I don't bother peeling the skin of the fruits all I do is cut them up and feed them into the opening the rest is like magic. The pulp I also save to make carrot cake, meatballs with apple pulp, sauces and for my two labs they get treats I bake for them also carrot with broth ice bones which are kool treats. Salton is a great company and this is there top of the line model I'd say I love it.

Juicelady! YUMMY!
I bought the Juicelady a couple of months ago, and it works wonders. The engine is great, and shreads even the thickest of carrots with ease. The juicer extracts the juice, and lets you enjoy the yummy juice without any pulp of any kind. I love pulp, but man, this lady is a great juicelady! The only problem I have with this machine is the cleanup. The machine is quite large. The worst part is cleaning the net container. Those who own this know what I'm talking about. I suggest you use a toothbrush when cleaning the net.

we love it!!
After doing some research and comparing prices, we decided to buy the juicelady to replace an old juiceman jr. we had.
I'm glad we did. It's so much better. We use it every day and make looooooots of juice. It juices all fruits and veggies with no problem but it's true, the pulp is not so dry as I would like to see it, but for the money I think it's the best buy.

Excellent Juicer
I bought the juicer a few months ago and I am so far very happy with it. Its incredible easy to clean which takes about 5 minutes. Its also incredibly easy to use. I have juiced apples, carrots, oranges and grapefruits, with no difficulty. I mix all these juices and drink it with ice. It is simply delicious, better than anything you could get at the supermarket. When I bought this item it was at a price of $129, I just saw it here at $89, which upsets me but for you new buyers I recommend to get it, especially at this cheaper price.

Avid Juicer
After going through 2 Juiceman II models and purchasing several replacements for broken parts (over a period of 4 years), I "moved up" to the Juice Lady Pro thinking it would be much better made/more powerful horsepower motor, etc. NOT! The first 3 times it was used, it clattered into a horrible racket sounding like the basket slipped off center. I had to turn it off several times to check all the parts for proper alignment. It is very noisy, tempermental, and cheaply made underneath the stainless steel surface parts. Very flimsy plastic locking ring holds main basket and flimsy side locking arms won't last long either. It definitely is not worth the extra $$ and can hardly be catagorized as a "commercial" model. I hope I can send it back for a refund, but since I bought it from Amazon, I don't know if I CAN send it back? There is no one to call for a return refund.

I wound up purchasing a Samson juicer, much stronger motor, less pulp, better made, easier to clean. I am very happy with it!

Don't believe the other reviews. I should have bought this at a 'store' so I could return it. Now, all I have is an expensive boat anchor. The Juiceman II is much better made, but it has it's flaws too. ... Read more
