The grandson of the legendary German automobile designer, F.A.Porsche has achieved an international design reputation of his own, beginning first with the Porsche 911 and then moving on to myriad otherproducts, such as this classy drip coffeemaker. Synthesizing form andfunction and utilizing advanced materials are Porsche's hallmarks, andthey are immediately evident in the coffeemaker's timeless beauty.Comprising twin cylindrical columns joined in the middle, thecoffeemaker is clad in brushed aluminum, with rugged, dark-purpleplastic trim. It's heavy and substantial, perfect for an executiveoffice or contemporary kitchen. It measures 14-1/2 inches high, 12inches wide, and 5 inches deep (not including handles).

Powered by 1,000 watts, the coffeemaker brews eight 5-ounce cupsdirectly into a heavy glass-insulated carafe whose top pops up whenit's disengaged from the brewing spout, preventing heat from escapingand air from entering to spoil the coffee's flavor and aroma. Aswing- out filter basket (for a permanent gold-tone filter) above the carafecompletes the right-hand cylinder. The left-hand cylinder consists of aremovable water tank that mirrors the carafe's shape and has anexternal gauge. Below that is a stainless-steel heating element and twobar-shaped pushbutton controls. One is the on/off switch and the otherpermits brewing either two to four cups or five to eight, a refinementthat ensures proper brewing times. Push-in cord storage reducesclutter. --Fred Brack ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Handsome and almost flawless!
Of course, like most others, I purchased this for appearance, Bosch reputation and the high quality of the construction. And it has not disappointed in any of those regards, as well as being one of the most cleverly and friendly designs of any coffee maker I've used. It is constructed of solid brushed aluminum, that doesn't show fingerprints, coffee stains. The water filling container is removable (always a problem with vacuum carafe coffeemakers) and everything fits very precisely. The carafe will keep coffee hot for hours, but it develops an "off" flavor after about 2-1/2 hours as will ANY vacuum pot. The only drawback is that the carafe is a bit difficult to clean and requires a bottle brush. Even then, some residual stale coffee taste may be there; I discovered that it is in the gasket that seals it to the lid, not the carafe, so that must be dried off with a tea towel to ensure full fresh coffee flavour.

And it will make fast (and very hot) flavorful coffee while being the most stunning thing on your countertop!

4-0 out of 5 stars An amazing coffee pot but beware
To begin with, I am a coffee addict. My morning ritual starts with grinding "just the right beans" and chasing the perfect half a pot. I'm probably on my eighth or ninth coffee maker over the years, and it's actually interesting why I change "equipment". The makers themselves never really seem to wear out, rather I get tired of them or their inadequacies - too slow, too ugly, I'm just over it - always something.
This thing is by far the best looking and the smartest design. The way you put the water in is simple and ingenius. It automatically shuts off after brewing, and stores the coffee in a sealed canister - again great!! And again, I can't stress enough how beautiful it is!!
My problem with it is this - mine came completely disfunctionable. I put the water in and out it immediatly leaked, all over my counter. After many four letter words, being somewhat mechanically inclined, I decided to take it apart to trouble shoot, before I "send it back". I waited so long for this thing (back ordered at the time), the thought of another long wait was unbearable!
Long story short, I fixed it and it now works perfectly, and I'm really happy. It was very challanging however to repair - got quite the education to the innerworkings of coffee makers. Every single part inside was disconnected from where it should go. ... Bottom line - Porsche hit a home run. Bosch put it together in a way the needs improvement, or sombody somewhere should reexamine shipping and packaging standards - especially for the retail price. Just beware>
Update: Since I've written this commentary, a very professional and diligent representative from Bosch has contacted me, and offered to replace mine - immediately no wait. He also through in a grinder for my troubles! Good guy, good company, great followthrough!

5-0 out of 5 stars Very impressive looking coffe maker
This coffee maker is the one of comversational peice for our kitchen! No one ever can quite guess what it is. 10 of 10 like to know where we got it.
not only looks it works Fast & Great coffee maker we have ever had. Easy! Fast! & Good Looking!
You will enjoy it!

2-0 out of 5 stars Good marketing; Poor delivery
I am very disappointed in this machine. I saw it on the Today Show and then purchased it from Amazon. I have had it about a month now and here's what's wrong: 1) metallic taste with each pot of coffee- now you'd think that this wouldn't happen with a high end machine, but no matter what I've tried it is still there-the literature that comes witht the machine mentions this may happen, but their cure doesn't work; 2) it leaks- although there is a water level indicator on the filling tank, go a little over and you have coffee all over the counter; you have thought that it would stay in the basket instead of running out over the counter; 3) coffee remains hot/warm maybe 3hrs tops even if you preheat thermal carafe with hot water; and 4) how could you forget to design a timer into the coffee pot- especially at this price--I'm going back to my Mr Coffee machine!

3-0 out of 5 stars Beautiful design, BUT no timer!
How did Bosch overlook the necessity of having a timer and a clock display on their slick designed coffee maker? I have purchased mine a few weeks ago for almost $$$ and now the price dropped to $$$ so I'm sending it back just to rebuy it. If Amazon can cut the price in half just like that, it proves this product isn't worth the $$$ I spent. But I'm a snob who wanted the name of a very reputable German maker who, by the way, makes the most durable products on the market, such as washers, dryers and their famous vacuums. Overall, great item to show off in your modern contemporary kitchen. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

The Bosch brand's reputation for excellence dates back to 1886, when Robert Bosch founded Robert Bosch GmbH as a precision-tool and engineering workshop in Stuttgart, Germany. Today, Bosch makes a wide variety of tools, kitchen appliances, and more. The company's MUM 7400 700-watt stand mixer/food machine helps out so much when cooking, it almost seems as if there's an extra sous chef in the kitchen. A small revolution in stand mixing, the motor is placed under the mixing bowl and is one of the most powerful you'll find among mixers of the same size, with a belt drive system that transmits torque better than many other models. The 12-by-14-by-10-1/4-inch (height by width by depth) mixer drives all accessories off a single mounting position and has four speed settings, plus a momentary pulse function, that install just the right amount of control as you go from fluffing egg whites to making bread. The 6-quart bowl is made of stainless steel, kneads up to 12 pounds of dough, and comes with an antisplash cover. All the surfaces of this kitchen machine are easy to clean, and it sports convenient cord storage and suction feet that add stability. A handy instruction booklet, beating and stirring whisks, a spatula, and the exclusive stainless-steel Bread Master dough hook are included (other attachments are available separately), and all accessories are dishwasher-safe. Adding to the cool multifunctional nature of this machine is the included blender that fits onto the same motor and has a 6-cup capacity and an unbreakable stainless-steel jug. When using the blender, the unit is 13-3/4 inches tall. A.J. Rathbun ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Looks good, but...
Ok,
Maybe I'm just unlucky, But after 8 months, mine died. I don't have access the unit's failure rate, so perhaps this is just an anomaly, but I'm skeptical. I really didn't work it too much, in fact, due to an illness, it probably hasn't been fired up more than about 30 times.

If I hadn't paid a grand for it, I could just shrug it off, but in fact, for around the same money, one can purchase an upscale Kitchen Aid mixer, and a professional (built for bars and clubs) blender, and still walk away ahead. In fact, I own a 18 year old K5 Kitchen Aid...that still makes bread and whips better egg-whites than this unit ever did. My 5 year old industrial blender BTW, still makes morning smoothies with out breaking a sweat.

Sure, the best thing about this unit is it's looks, but for actual cooking, save your money and get some real tools, now...to find the box and receipt, and hold my breath....

5-0 out of 5 stars WAY BETTER THAN A KITCHEN-AID!!!
This machine is not only beautiful, but very powerful. I purchased mine on eBay for $510. The stainless steel bowl is very big,it's great for huge quanities. I would like if they had a smaller bowl to go with this for smaller batches. It still works very well. I can't believe the power. It whipped my mashed potatoes with ease. The stainless steel blender is awesome. I used it for puree's. It does a great job. You don't have to worry about it leaking like the cheap ones.
I can't wait to do more baking with this great machine. I need to learn how to mix the ingredients when making a cake. The instructions on how to add them aren't very good. I would suggest you purchase a book about using stand mixers if you are a novice like me.

5-0 out of 5 stars If you don't want it anymore....for Jennifer
I would gladly pay shipping to take that off your hands!!

try and remember, it's just a machine, a tool to help you. if your husband spent that kind of money on a german machine, you probably can't do *anything* to hurt it. Good luck!

4-0 out of 5 stars scared...
My husband baught me this for my birthday because he knows that I love to cook, but I was too afraid to use it because it is expensive and I didnt want to break it so I bought a cheeper one.. but kept this for looks!

5-0 out of 5 stars Glorious Form and Function
Few products ever achieve the highest level of beauty and function. This one does. It is exquisite, perfectly thought out from top to bottom. It is powerful, efficient, handles all the tasks it takes five pieces of equipment to do. And WOW is is gorgeous. I sold my Kitchen Aid Professional Mixer, professional blender, food procesor and my Magic Mill professional dough mixer after getting this. Now I have one sleek, beautiful piece of machinery to do all those functions and do them better. This item is expensive, but not if you add up what yo don't need to buy in other equipment. This does it all. You do need to add the processor accessory. Do check out the accessories, they add many additional functions. EXCELLENT product. Hansine Pedersen Goran ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A BEAUTY OF A BLENDER
This is a real beauty of a blender with its sleek, cutting edge design by Porsche. Its streamlined shape and brushed aluminum exterior reduce other blenders to over-the-hill divas.

However, the familiar saw, "looks aren't everything" aptly applies to this Bosch product because it's not only handsome but powerful and reliable. It crushes ice before you can reach for the glasses, and purees in a wink.

Stainless steel blades afford fine and uniform chopping (superb for salsa), and the 6-cup capacity is generous yet convenient. It comes equipped with a 450 watt motor and a full one-year warranty. We like the cord can be wound up and disappear beneath the base, and the nifty control buttons that pop out with a push and retract with a gentle fingertip nudge.
Yes, a Bosch blender is an investment but a wise one for not only gourmet cooks but also for those who appreciate quality and serviceability, as it is unique in both design and performance.

4-0 out of 5 stars Powerful and beautiful too!
I purchased this blender for my husband, along with the coffee maker, because I thought he'd appreciate the Porsche design and he does. We actually needed a new blender, so I didn't just buy the Bosch for its looks. This blender does a fine job of crushing ice for margaritas. The dark purple pouring spout looks a little bluish, but the brushed stainless truly stays free of fingerprints (unlike my larger stainless appliances). If you want a powerful motor and you really appreciate the look of this blender, then its worth the money.

3-0 out of 5 stars I own it - but Question its pricing!!
This is a beautiful product in every way, The price is a problem. Just surf Europe and Asia and it averages about 200.00 USD Converted. Why is Bosch charging us in the US 100.00 to 150.00 more? It sours the whole experience! Elsewhere it is distributed BY Siemens. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great gift -- for yourself, or someone else
I received this combo as a Christmas gift, and I guess I was skeptical. But after using both parts of the combo several times, I'm sold.

I've always enjoyed the George Foreman grills. When it's too cold out to use a proper BBQ, or you just don't want to take the time, a GF grill is just the ticket. Easy to use, easy to clean, and with its long-lasting non-stick surface, you'll be enjoying it for a long time to come. The jumbo model included with this combo is big enough for the whole family, or allows you to make extra ahead for lunch the next day.

But the real gem is the rotisserie, and is where I was most surprised. If you enjoy whole roast chicken from one of the restaurant chains or your local grocery, you'll be pleasantly surprised when you're able to make it at home -- with the added benefit of controlling everything that goes into it. Simple recipes accompany the appliance, and the results are just delicious.

The rotisserie comes with skewers for ka-bobs, or a basket for smaller foods like chicken legs or a small roast.

Definitely one of my favorite gifts this past season, it gets a big thumb's up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Buy!!!
Don't pass this up just because you can't see a picture. You can look them up separately to see the picts. and get the info. You'll also get sticker shock at the same time. This is a STEAL!!!

I just received my grill & rotisserie today so I haven't used them yet. I had a smaller Foreman grill and this one is about double the size! The rotisserie looks great too. I'm sure I'll love the rotisserie as much as I will the grill. Since I had the smaller grill I can speak from experience about how great they are! Makes fixing dinner a whole lot easier since my husband was put on a low-fat diet by his doctor.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't beat it
You can't beat this deal if you could! The baby rotisserie alone goes for $60 and the Jumbo grill goes for $75 alone. I have the mini George Foreman grill and I live by it. I can't wait until I use the rotisserie.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is an AWESOME deal!
If you're planning on buying George Foreman GR36CB Jumbo Size Plus Grill or this George Foreman GR59A Baby George Rotisserie, I'd strongly recommend you consider this AWESOME deal. Both items for less than $90! I saw this very same deal in a discount chain ad...they offered it for $99.99. They had 1 or 2 per store and offered NO RAINCHECKS! Don't let this offer slip by you because there's no product picture. I'm glad I didn't.....ENJOYING MY GEORGE FOREMAN GRILL AND ROTISSERIE! ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

This 1200-watt iron from Bosch offers full-range steam functionality in a tidy little structure that weighs under 3 pounds. Designed to heat water continuously, the iron provides strong, even steam distribution, as well as a water-spray feature and a steam-jet function for extra stubborn wrinkles. You can also turn the water options off for dry-iron projects, like synthetic fabrics. A rocker switch controls water output during use--rock it one way for steam and the other way for water--and the steam valve is designed to self-clean automatically. The iron's stainless steel soleplate glides over clothes and resists scratches and nicks. Clearly marked with fabric settings, the temperature dial adjusts easily and stays put once you make a selection. Bosch's transparent 8-ounce fill tank sports a clear "max" line and refills with the included plastic cup. The iron also features an 8-foot power cord attached to a 360-degree swivel ball joint. --Emily Bedard ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing
Don't waste your money on this iron. It takes longer to iron garments with this iron. The soleplate quickly developed a build-up of crud, and following the manufacturer's directions for cleaning (ironing a cloth soaked with white vinegar) did not remove the build-up. Finally, the rubber strain-relief at the point where the power cord connects to the iron body broke after one month of ownership.

5-0 out of 5 stars Bosch is still the best!
I recently purchased this Bosch iron a few months ago. It has been working quite well so far. The main thing I like about it is that it's fairly simple to use, unlike most other irons, that are heavy and became a chore when ironing. The only drawback I can think of is as mentioned in the other review, with the leaks that came out with using the steam function. But I have seen the complaint of leaks with some irons over $100. And look at the price-$45 is a bargain! Hey, how come no one agrees with me?

2-0 out of 5 stars Heats up very quickly but leaks too
I thought the iron heated up very fast. It's lightweight and nicely designed. The iron leaked when using the steam feature which I why I rated it two stars. It leaked a lot...not just a few drips. I returned the iron.

5-0 out of 5 stars A good iron at last
Ironing and irons are not something one gets excited about. We have owned several irons over the years that usually lasted 2-3 years. Two weeks ago our [amt]Proctor-Silex caught on fire and we were forced to search for a new iron. We looked at several before choosing the Bosch TDA1302UC. We did not want to get another disposable iron from Wal-Mart. We looked at the Rowenta irons and thought they were too heavy and a bit too pricey. So far the Bosch has been a pleasure to use. It has very good ergonomics and it very well balanced unlike many irons that we have owned The self-cleaning nozzle feature is nice. We do a lot of craft type activities and it is nice not to have the auto shutoff feature. We have owned other Bosch products (dishwasher)and they have been very reliable, efficient machines. I would definitely recommend. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Connection Problems but Found Answer
I have the Bosch Compact Mixer. I had trouble getting this to connect to the mixer. I called Bosch customer service in CA and discovered how to attach this. You must put the cover on the processor and snap it in place just as if you were going to process food. This moves the plastic tab on the bottom out of the way so it will attach. Works great once you know the secret!

4-0 out of 5 stars Save $$$ by vacuum sealing
I've tried a fair share of the gadgets I've seen on TV and in various magazines. This is the one I could not live without. Being single and enjoying cooking, I find it difficult to cook small meals every day. With the Food Saver, I cook larger quantities, freeze individual portions, and seal them in microwave safe bowls so I can take them to work. Open up one end of the bag and throw it in the microwave and in a matter of minutes, I have my home cooked meal for lunch at work.

I've owned various Foodsavers over the last 7 years and I figure it's saved me hundreds of $$$ by buying in bulk, vacuum sealing individual portions and freezing.

This applies mostly to meat, but applies to other things as well. The food lasts, literally, more than twice as long in the freezer because there is no chance for freezer burn.

I've read reviews for other models that complain about the cost of the Tilia bags and disagree with them. Since they are reusable, the cost isn't nearly as bad as they say. I generally get at least 4 uses out of my bags made from the rolls. If you buy the precut bags, it can be a little expensive, but you still get multiple uses from them.

The only gripe I have about this model is that the end of the vacuum hose that is used for the various cannisters and jar sealer accessories has a tendency to pop out of the unit for no apparent reason sometimes.

The company's MUM 7100 700-watt stand mixer/food machine helps out so much when cooking, it almost seems as if there's an extra sous chef in the kitchen. The plastic surfaces of this kitchen machine are easy to clean, it has convenient cord storage and suction feet that add stability, and its compact size takes up a lot less counter space than other mixers. A handy instruction booklet, beating and stirring whisks, a spatula, and the exclusive stainless-steel Bread Master dough hook are included (other attachments are available separately), and all accessories are dishwasher-safe. Adding to the cool multifunctional nature of this machine is the included blender that fits onto the same motor and has a 6-cup capacity. When using the blender, the unit is 13-3/4 inches tall. A.J. 5-0 out of 5 stars Love My Concept7!!
I received a Concept 7 for my birthday this past May. It's powerful, sleek and stores nicely. We purchased the model with the heavy duty American dough hook and am quite pleased that we did. It easily handles large amounts of dough (I make 6 loaves of 100% whole wheat bread at a time). We haven't had any trouble getting the attachments on the base. They go on easily with little or no effort. Clean up is a breeze. Overall, this is a fantastic machine and I would recommend it to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Mixer, I love it!!!!
This is a wonderful mixer.

Holds alot of ingredients. I can make loads of cookies and breads with only one recipe!!

I like the convenience of the attachments and they don't take up as much space as seperate machines.

Make sure you order cookie/batter whips (not available on Amazon) if you are making cookies. The wire whips will not work on cookies and the dough hook does not work well for them either.

I bought the stainless blender, food processor and citrus juicer attachments as well as the cookie/batter whips.

4-0 out of 5 stars Bosch Concept 7
I've been very pleased with my Bosch. After researching my options, I went with the Bosch for its power, capacity, reputation, and design. I've found that it easily handles large batches of dough. The mix-from-the-bottom design makes it easily to add ingredients while it is kneading the dough. The Bosch kneads well when conditions are right (you can't just dump in the ingredients and let it go). But learning what those conditions are takes practice. One tip: start with an overly wet dough and gradually add flour. It seems to knead best when the dough rings the center column, when this happens increase to speed setting 2. It is fairly loud, but most stand mixers are. It cleans up well, stores nicely (you can fit all the included attachments in the bowl), and has the look and feel of a high-quality product. I haven't used the blender or beaters yet.

I highly recommend this product and don't regret my purchase. Serious yeast bread bakers shouldn't limit their options to the Kitchen Aid series. I didn't have good luck with my Kitchen Aid Classic mixer. I didn't give it 5 stars due to the learning curve for kneading...but overall I'm very pleased.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best mixer on the market
I purchased this product a few weeks ago. Bread dough is kneads as fast as cake batter. Nothing slows it down. No need to let the dough rise twice - kneads so well that one rising is all that it takes. Monster cookies, pumpkin pie, all came out great using this mixer. I got the ice cream maker - works just wonderful. Ice cream in 15 minutes! I also purchased the food processor - works just great. This is the best mixer I have ever owned. All items store great and have lids so items don't get dusty between use. I'd recommend this mixer for the serious cook. This mixer is just wonderful!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Heavy Duty Mixer
You want power to make bread dough or oatmeal cookies dough? You know how hard to mix heavy dough with a wimpy machine (300 watts and below) especially for large batches of dough. I highly recommended this mixer (machine) for all types of bakers out there. I purchased my machine last year and have used it constantly. I don't think I would purchase another Kitchen Aid mixer unless it was updated to 700 watts of power, then I would lose my counter space. I just love the power behind my Bosch MUM 7100 UC. It does get noisy but then so does Kitchen Aid. I stored my machine in one of my wider kitchen drawer.
With the holidays coming up grap this machine to make all your holiday goodies. It can whip my eggs, chocolate mixes, and butter so smooth. Sure, other mixers can do the same but the difference is when you start adding flours, baking soda, and oatmeal, etc to your mixer does it slow down? Well, my Bosch keeps going, going, going.....
I would like to see Bosch make a smaller bowl. I do recommend you purchase a second bowl for other usage like mixing meat products. ... Read more

Today, Bosch makes a wide variety of tools, kitchen appliances, and more. The company's MEK 7000 built-in 700-watt stand mixer is an amazing space saver that helps out so much when cooking, it almost seems as if there's an extra sous chef in the kitchen. The mixer actually fits into a kitchen counter, so you'll need to install it--but the base should fit almost flush with the counter and is shallow enough that you should be able to still use any cupboard it's placed over (you wouldn't be able to use a drawer under it). When the machine is not in use, there is a metal plate that covers the unit snugly. The mixer's strong motor is one of the most powerful you'll find among mixers of the same size, and it drives all accessories off a single mounting position. 1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Buy This Machine!
I bought the Bosch compact mixer about a year ago. The salesman promised me it would perform just as well as the larger mixer, simply do smaller quantities. Well, I have now used it on almost every possible type of recipe and the only thing it mixes well is a packaged cake mix. Cookie dough takes forever to mix. Cheesecake never gets smooth. Likewise with mashed potatoes. My bread dough doesn't get kneaded properly and turns out heavy and coarse. When I called Bosch's customer service to complain, they told me they couldn't compensate me just because I don't "like" the machine. Do yourself a favor. Buy a KitchenAid or a Sunbeam instead. That's what I'm going to have to do.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed!
I have gone bought 3 different stand mixers and I liked "none of them" they were either too bulky, heavy, noisy, and pricey. This one is nice and compact, lightweight, and mixes great! I really think that this is ideal for a family that bakes alot, I do not however make bread, so I cannot rate this item on that.

5-0 out of 5 stars The most awesome kitchen machine!
Throughout my life, I learned to cook with my mother's larger Bosch. When I married and left home I would whine that I wanted one too. Last Christmas she bought me the Bosch 450 Watt mixer (then distributed by Toastmaster by special agreement with Bosch).

I cannot stress how much I love this machine. It is quiet, compact and is able to mix cookie dough excellently. I have the blender attachment, which grinds 4 -6 cups oatmeal to flour-like consistency (required in my cookie recipe) in seconds. My old blender used to get jammed if I tried to put more than 1 cup of oatmeal at a time in it. The machine whips egg whites, makes great frosting, bread dough is no problem, but most importantly -it is incredibly compact. The motor arm snaps down and the machine can be easily stored in a cupboard or exist on your countertop without taking up much space.

I bought the continuous choppper attachment for grating cheese, chopping vegetables, & making french fries. It was cheaper than the food processor attachment and seems to essentially do the same stuff (you just have to keep your own bowl under the "spout" for lack of a better word, which is actually a benefit, because you are not having to take the machine apart to empty out the bowl).

But by far, the most valuable and best attachment for this machine (which drives my mom nuts because Bosch doesn't seem to offer a similar atttachment for her size machine) is the ICE CREAM MAKER! You keep the 1 quart, liquid-filled bowl in the freezer and, whenever the mood strikes, you pop that sucker out, mix up a recipe, and bam! 30 minutes later - homemade ice cream without the hand cranking or the loud & rock salt-requiring machines.

The ice cream maker comes with a recipe book of delicious ice creams. My favorite is a variation of their chocolate ice cream recipe. The book suggests substituting any flavor of instant pudding instead of using the chocolate pudding it calls for. I encourage all who buy it to try pitaschio or white chocolate! Why waste money on Ben & Jerry's when you have you have your Bosch?

5-0 out of 5 stars Just love it!
I just purchased this mixer and I must say I am impressed. I am not one to cook much but this mixer has changed my thinking. I am now baking cookies which I very seldom do. This machine makes it a breeze. I was delighted to find that for the price range this mixer has more power than a similar Kitchenaid mixer has. The mashed potatoes are excellant and am looking for more recipes to make with this machine. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a high quality stand mixer at a resonable price.

5-0 out of 5 stars I love my Bosch Mixer
My mother has owned the larger universal Bosch mixer for years and it is an outstanding machine with incredible durability. I was looking for a smaller mixer and after previous experience with the Bosch I leaped for the smaller bosch mixer(but not too small to handle medium sized jobs effortlessly). I am impressed by the powerful 450 watt engine(I was amazed at under powered the kitchen Aid unit is with only 250watts). The Bosch does a great job of doing a complete job of mixing and blending ingredients together in the excellent bowl; it so easy to use and clean, and I love all the additional attachments you can add to it, which work great. I can throughly recommend this excellent machine to anyone, in fact it will be on my list of future gifts to people I know who love to bake. ... Read more
