This versatile 3-piece steamer set combines several pans into one. The 7-1/2-quart covered casserole dish works on its own for boiling pasta on the stovetop or baking macaroni and cheese in the oven. When used with the 6-quart stainless-steel steamer insert, the dish prepares healthy steamed vegetables or fish. The contemporary-styled casserole dish is part of Anolon’s Advanced Clad line, which features gleaming 18/10 stainless-steel exteriors with an aluminum core encapsulated in the base for excellent heat distribution. The pan has Anolon’s trademarked ergonomic SureGrip handles, which are made of stainless steel and have a silicone rubber grip to prevent slipping and to stay cool on the stovetop. The tempered-glass lid is domed for more efficient steaming and locks tightly to the pan for sealing in flavors during cooking. 4-0 out of 5 stars Good Crepe Pan
I bought two crepe pans: the Analon crepe pan and the Lodge 10 1/2 inch cast iron pan. I preferred the Analon pan because of the following reasons:
-It doesn't get sticky.
-The handle is better designed than the Lodge pan because it doesn't get hot.
-It is very versatile: excellent for Vietnamese crepes, pancake and omelettes.

What I don't like about this item:
-Its non-stick layer won't last long if get scratches.

Overall, I would give it a five-star; however, it took me more than three-and-half weeks to receive most of my orders from Amazon.

5-0 out of 5 stars Your only man for perfect pancakes!
How sad is this? Writing a review of a pancake frying pan! But then, it takes all sorts.

Basically, this pan (or one like it) is what you really need to make good pancakes. So, why this pan, and not just an ordinary frying pan? Well, first, this pan is nice and wide, so you can make big, but thin, pancakes. Second, it's nice and shallow, so the pancakes can be slid out easily (this is the problem, I find with ordinary frying pans, they ofter have high and steep sides, which make it difficult to move the pancakes about, and to get them out). Third, it's non-stick, so that you can, at a pinch, make pancakes without using butter (but who would want to do that? It's like going to the cinema without loading up on the sweets and popcorn first - it's do-able, but just not quite right).

If pancakes are your thing, then you really should invest the small amount to do them right. Even if all you do is make a few around pancake Tuesday, then this pan will last the rest of your life! Using this pan makes making pancakes much easier and more hassle free. Just remember, only use this pan for pancakes, not for anything else. Then it will stay in good condition, will never need harsh cleaning, and will keep making lovely pancakes for ages.

Recipe for Crepes Suzette: Make your pancakes as usual (basic recipe is 4oz flour, 1/2 pint milk, 1 egg, pinch salt and a dash of melted butter. Mix well together to make the batter, and leave overnight if possible). When pancakes are made, fold them into quarters and put aside. To make the sauce, you need roughly equal amounts of butter, sugar, and orange juice (the actual amount of which depents on how much sauce you need, but a little goes a long way). Melt the butter, add the sugar until it's melted, and is beginning to go a bit sticky. Then add the orange juice, to dissolve the sticky sauce, into a thinner...sticky sauce! Allow this to bubble for a bit, and thenadd the pancakes to the sauce to coat them well and heat them up. Then add a shot of Grand Marnier preferably, or Cointreau, or else brandy, as a last resort, to the bubbling pan. Allow to heat up for a few seconds, and then flambé it, by (carefully) lighting the fumes! You have to be very careful here not to set yourself or the kitchen alight, so if you're not to sure, you can just not flambé it. Serve the crepes with a bit of the sauce drizzled on top. Yum! ... Fondue is back in style—and why not? "Dip dining" is such a sophisticated yet simple way to entertain during the fall or holidays. Anolon’s 1-1/2-quart fondue pot bubbles enough Swiss and Gouda for six people to enjoy and, as part of the low-maintenance Professional line of cookware, makes cleanup a piece of cake for the hosts. The pot is made of heavy-gauge anodized aluminum, which heats cheese evenly without hot spots and has long-lasting durability. A triple layer of Dupont’s Autograph nonstick system coats the interior of the pot so baked-on cheese simply wipes out. The fondue heats up with Sterno, which is housed in a holder within the stainless-steel nesting rack. Also made of stainless steel are the handle and a slotted removable utensil holder with room to rest the six included fondue forks. 5-0 out of 5 stars perfect for cheese and chocolate
This is a GREAT pot for chocolate and cheese. It cleans easily, melts calmly, and is simple to adjust the temperature. Here's the deal. If you really want to make a full three course fondue meal, you need TWO pots. Get this pot for cheese and chocolate and then get the Rival FD350S Stainless Steel Electric Fondue pot for oil or broth. This pot will not work for boiling, it just doesn't get or stay hot enough at the table.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fondue set
We bought this set at Macy's because it was the only one available, and we absolutely LOVE it. It's easy to use and even easier to clean. The pot goes from the stove to the stand for ease of melting. Perfect gift for someone (or yourself). Cheese, oil and chocolate all melt well. I prefer the paste fuel that this one uses better than the liquid (transportable for those of you that do fondue parties at a friends house). We highly recommend!

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good for the price
I get this as a gift, and is very usefull. But I have found that is a lot more easy to use with chocolate than with cheese. However, is well stocked and very fun to use with friends. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars An Apartment Dwelling Cook's Viewpoint
Unlike the other reviewers to date I am rather pleased with the pan. All of my pans need to be multi-use and I purchased this one because it was an 8 inch covered pan at the right price. The egg poacher insert was a bonus. The pan is like most of the other Analon Classic pans in quality and workmanship. I like the added disk on the bottom, the nonstick finish Meyer puts on these Anodized pans, and the resin handles. I also like glass lids that let you see your cooking without losing heat by removing the lid to check it out. The Egg Poacher insert is definitely a "Gadget". If you plan on poaching a lot of eggs for the family breakfast or brunch don't buy this pan you will be disappointed. I found that it works just fine for poaching 4 eggs. If you plan on doing more you had better us butter in the cups. I found that with no butter I could remove the egg rather nicely with a small bottle scraper, but it does leave an egg film on the cup, soaking them after use cleans them great. My first major concern was how to remove the cups without getting a steam burn on my hands. I solved that by using a narrow two-tine meat fork, then holding the cups with a kitchen towel. If you use just the smallest amount of butter the egg slips right out of the cup. By the way these cups are for medium size eggs only, a large or extra large will over flow the cup. Egg residue that touches the stainless steel insert is definitely a soak in soapy water and a plastic brush to get it clean. Overall I like the pan and it is a keeper, but then I didn't buy it for the poacher.

2-0 out of 5 stars Mixed.
If they never made the claim it was a non-stick product, I would be perfectly happy with it.

Except for the thoughtless positioning of the steam vents in the cup tray, it is well designed and fabricated from quality materials.

The dome glass lid allows you to sort of keep an eye on things, while it condenses steam and returns it to the pan. This means you can use very little water -- a cup is more than plenty -- and it comes to a boil very quickly on a ceramic cooktop.

It is heavy in weight and has a nice polished stainless steel cup tray. The handle is solidly riveted in place with 2 massive rivets. The lid has a nice handle too, and is rimmed with a stainless band.

When it comes time to retrieve your meal, you'd better just pull the whole tray out by the central handle, because no matter how you position the handles of the cups, you will get scalded knuckles from poorly positioned steam vents if you try to grab a cup. At least the handles are designed so you could easilly grab them with tongs if you wanted.

Then you will find that your eggs are all but permanently welded to the "non-stick" cup. This coating is as non-stick as a piece of 180 grit sandpaper.

If you go against the instructions, which warn that lubricating the cups will ruin the (non-existant) non-stick properties of them, and go ahead and hose them down with Pam, your eggs will pop right out with a rap from a knuckle or wooden spoon.

Just forget that it's supposed to be non-stick, and remember to use the tongs, and you will be very happy with this rig.

1-0 out of 5 stars Anolon Awful!
Received this for a Christmas present. Did it say non stick?? I could not get the egg out. The next set of eggs I tried spraying it with Pam and it was not any better. When I cleaned it with a soft scrubber the non stick started coming off. I returned this pan right away and am looking for another

2-0 out of 5 stars Not very good
The egg cups stick unless you put butter in them. If you get egg on any part of this pan, excluding the lid, it's like glue when you try to get it off. The pan looks and feels cheap to me, despite what I paid for it. Also, the instructions tell you not to turn up the heat too high because the pan has good heat conduction. It takes forever for the water to start boiling so you can then turn the heat back down to simmer to cook your eggs.
I was disappointed. ... Read more
