From one of Henckels' moderately priced cutlery lines, theseeight steak knives divide any rib eye, chop, or roast into bite-sizepieces and then store in a handsome wood box. The thin, curved bladesare perfect for precise cutting, although their fine serrations tend totear meat fibers rather than slice neatly through them. Stamped fromhigh-carbon stainless steel, the knives are lighter in weight thanforged knives and don't have bolsters, which might not be essentialwhen confronting a thick prime rib. The synthetic handles featureclassic three-rivet styling with full tangs for strength. The storagebox is stained a rich auburn. It has brass hinges and snap closures andmeasures 15-1/4 inches long, 1-3/4 inches high, and 5-5/8 inches wide. The knives are dishwasher-safe and carry a lifetime warranty againstdefects. --Fred Brack ... Most of the Henckels lines--including the popular Four Star series--feature blades made of Friodur, a special ice-hardened, no-stain steel created and patented by the company in 1939. This special formula was designed for exceptional hardness and high resistance to corrosion. The blades on these steak knives are slim and narrow to facilitate even, precise meat cutting and flexible enough to allow thin slicing. The ergonomically designed polypropylene handles--like that of all the products in the Four-Star line--are designed to balance perfectly in the hand.

Founded in 1731, the J.A. Henckels company is not only one of the world's oldest cutlery manufacturers, it's also one of the most well-respected, creating best-selling knives guaranteed to last a lifetime. --Kim Harwell ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent
The cost of these knives probably puts them out of reach for the average household (who wants to spend $35 a piece for a steak knife for company to scratch against stoneware plates?), but if you want top-of-the-line knives that cut through anything, hold their edge, and feel sturdy in your hand, give these knives a second look. They compare favorably to the other more expensive Henckels, as well as the pricey Wusthof lines.

Amazon.com Review

An exceptional gift for a close associate or relative, this handsome brushed-aluminum case presents eight of Wusthof’s finest steak knives. The Classic ‘Mignon’ knife features a distinctively curved, ultra-sharp blade for smooth-as-silk slicing through thick cuts of meat, such as filet mignon. Acclaimed for beautiful balance, heft, and a signature solid bolster, or finger guard, a Classic knife is precision forged from a single piece of high-carbon, stain-resistant steel for superior strength, and should last a lifetime.

Each of the eight knives in this set features a 4-1/2-inch blade that has been impeccably ground, tapered, and polished, with a non-serrated edge which makes resharpening easy. Traditional in look, a Classic knife is seamlessly constructed with a visible full tang triple-riveted into an ergonomically-shaped synthetic handle. The 8-by-11-by 2-inch storage case is slim enough not to require a handle and features reinforced corners, an elegant swing-arm clasp, eight molded slots for the knives, and a thick foam lid lining that keeps the knives compressed to prevent shifting. Though the knives are dishwasher-safe, Wusthof recommends hand-washing all fine cutlery. Made in Germany, Wusthof knives are fully guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and/or craftsmanship. --Ann Bieri

5-0 out of 5 stars Functional and attractive!
I definitely recommend this set of steak knives from Wusthof. I've spent well over $250 on other knife sets with the butcher block type holder, only to be disappointed. With everyday use, the other knives with the rivets and wooden handles just didn't hold up as well as this set from Wusthof.

These knives are sleek and trim and I'm pleased with how well they fit with my Kelly Gold stainless flatware. The design is classic, so the knives should mix well with your own flatware pattern.

These knives are sturdy, cut well, look great, and are easy to clean. What more do you need? I, too, like the fact that these are not the huge "steakhouse" type knives.

As to the other reviews that are critical of the presentation box - well, it's not nearly as cheesy as these reviews state. It's really a pretty nice box. I'm not into boxes - I use these knives everyday, so they go right in the silverware drawer. But if you are hesitant to buy because of the comments about the box - forget it. It's certainly decent enough.

I really don't think you can go wrong with these. It's a great set of knives at a reasonable price.

3-0 out of 5 stars There is a better deal on the 4-pc. sets
This 8-pc. set looks real nice, but the price when I checked last was $89.99. Amazon has the 4-pc. set, same knives, in a better box on sale for $29.99. Just order two of those. I got mine today and they're beautiful. Haven't used them yet and it will take some time to get used to their slim shape after using clunky steakhouse-type wooden-handle knives, but they look classy. I live in SW Florida and everything down here rusts. We have to buy stainless steel and I love the way these look and feel. I don't keep mine in a box, no storage space, so I don't care what the box looks like. I have magnitized bars attached to the wall behind my stove where I keep all my knives. The boxes that come with the 4-pc. sets, however, are nice aluminum boxes with a fancy latch. I'm going to give them to my grandchildren to store their treasures.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!
First off, let me say that we don't eat much steak any more (cholesterol problems). We're not steak knife experts who insist on some particular type of blade edge. We do NOT like big ugly steak-house-restaurant type knives on our table. And finally, we don't care a fig about how good or bad a storage box looks. Our knives are rarely stored for long because whenever we serve any meat or fowl, we've always put steak knives out with the flatware. And OH MY, this Wusthof set is *phenomenally* nicer than the equally simple but hysterically expensive black-handled ones from Germany that we've been using for decades. This is solid, sleek, hefty-feeling stuff. The design goes wonderfully with our other flatware ranging from fancy to plain (in fact, the steak knife is actually heavier than some of the flatware pieces sitting next to it on the table). And YES it DOES cut very well indeed -- which is all hub & I ask from any knife!

5-0 out of 5 stars excellent knives
Excellent knives - very sharp, hold their sharpness very well so far (after about 1 year of constant every day use). I also like that the handle and the knife are the one whole, there's no plastic parts or rivets which can come loose or break over time. Oh, and people - do not judge these knives by the stupid box they come with, it doesn't matter if the box is made out of real wood or a cardboard, it has no effect on the functionality or reliability of knives. If you want to impress your stupid or simple-minded friends or relatives who will only be impressed by how the storage box looks like and not by the quality of the knives themselves, then you should just buy a cheapest set of steak knives sold here, then use the saved money to buy a better-looking box for those knives. Seriously, people, judging such excellent knives by the presentational box is, well, to say it politely, very illogical.

1-0 out of 5 stars Knives great, box is very poor quality
I love these knives. Wusthof makes excellent, top quality knives. Not only are they easy to use, but they are beautiful tools as well.

However, I would not purchase the box that these lovely items come in for any amount of money. Not only is the box cheaply made and lighter than a feather, there were several knicks, cracks, and chips in the box that made it unpresentable. I was hoping to have two nice sets of knives to pull out when guests arrive. Instead, I returned my purchase and now need to find a suitable alternative. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

High tech from tip to handle, Global knives from Japan created a sensation when they burst onto the world's culinary stage as an alternative to traditional European-style cutlery. Blades are made of hard molybdenum/vanadium stainless steel and "face-ground" with a long taper rather than a short bevel so edges remain sharp longer than even the best high-carbon stainless-steel knives. Edges also are ground at a more acute angle than traditional European-style knives and arrive from the factory razor-sharp. Thinner blades result in lighter knives. (Global also makes a "heavyweight" line for cooks who prefer hefty knives.) Though most Global knives have hollow handles, the handles on the four steak knives in this set are solid. Their 3-1/2-inch blades are finely serrated on one side. They also are among the few Global knives with bolsters.

Stainless-steel handles are Global's most striking feature. They're molded to fit the hand and dimpled to resist slipping. Smaller around than many European-style handles, they're easy for small-handed cooks to grasp and seamless for sanitation. Global recommends using a ceramic sharpener or a diamond steel instead of a metal sharpening steel for its knives, supplemented by a synthetic whetstone, a ceramic whetstone, or a Shinkansen Sharpener. Global also makes a Sharpening Guide Rail so blades can be honed on a whetstone at the proper angle. Global knives should be hand washed to protect edges. They carry a lifetime warranty against defects and breakage. --Fred Brack ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Where's the Beef ? & Pass the A-1 please!
With Wusthof, quality is top of the line!
Rated #1 in Consumer reports magazine, well balanced, which makes cutting alot less of a chore. I would have liked to tried the Gourmet steak knife set first; because this was alot to pay for steak knives. I know this is a lifetime investment. A great looking blade design that caught my eye & I got the 4 piece Fillet Mignon classic set instead of the classic 6 piece set. Now when I eat a steak, it does not get sawed & smashed with a dull serrated knife. Now,where's the beef? & Pass the A-1 please!

5-0 out of 5 stars Incredibly sharp
I actually bought a cheaper version of these knives, and they are so nice that I can't even imagine how well this version must cut. I had no idea knives could be this effective. puts mass marketed brands such as henkels to shame.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wüsthof Classic 6-Piece Steak Knife Set
Many people might scoff at a set of steak knives at this price, My only retort is to relate the story of sneaking around (because of my wife's non belief that there was a difference) and buying a set of the Wusthof Classic Steak Knives and using them for the first time. No matter what knife you have laying around and how sharp it is, the Wusthof is superior. It is the most obvious in steak knives because you use them everyday.
The edges are plain edged, honed by hand. These are NOT your STEAK HOUSE knives - no serrations. Your SLICING fine meat not disposing of a lost tourist in Texas!
Hand washing only, even with today's more sophisticated dishwashers with knife compartments preventing dinging and other damage to the blade, the high water heat and chemicals in the diswashing soap will ruin ANY knife. Think of the glass that you've had for years that you've run through the dish washer. Look closely and you'll see the glass is actually ETCHED from the detergent. And the old wood handled paring knives. Notice how they are duller and harder to sharpen? The dishwater temperature and chemicals from the detergent have damaged the steel. By the way, there is no SUPER steel that isn't known to all knife makers. Metallurgy is an exacting science, a formula to be followed, not magic with the Sorcerer and Mickey Mouse as his apprentice. Wusthof PROUDLY stamps the which metal their knives are made of right on the blade. It may be heard in a sales spiel from the college kid selling complete cutlery sets, that knives can be dishwasher cleaned. Nope.I don't put my saw blades, drill or router bits in the dishwasher either. They are precision edged tools just like your knives.

I'm very happy with this purchase everytime they come out for a meal. They feel comfortable, familiar like an extension of your hand, as all the Wusthof Classic cutlery do.
Good weight, balance and excellent hand honed edge. This knife is the one my wife reaches for first for her needs in the kitchen. Never argue with a woman with a knife in her hand. Especially a Wusthof!!

1-0 out of 5 stars Knives made by JA Henckels
These knives are mainly used for cutting. They have largely fulfilled this purpose. Be sure to grasp the handle (the black end) so as to avoid unnecessary trauma.

I have had other knives before, and will no doubt have different ones in the future.

All in all I am pretty ambivalent about these knives, but knives do not play a major part in my life. You???

5-0 out of 5 stars The best!
The best set of steak kinves we have ever owned. Exceptionally well made, good feel, and keeps a sharp edge for years. Highly recommended. I'm about to buy more of them as my wife uses them for everything.

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice steak knives but a Questionable blade design...
Got this knives set during an Friday Sale. A real good deal for Swilling JA Henckels product line. The blade is similar to the Henckels 4/5 star and Pro-s blades except this is stamped instead of forged. Although this is a stamped knife, the blade is actually thicker than the blade of a comparatively higher line of 4/5 star, so Forged or Stamped blade makes no difference for this steak knife. These steak knives make cutting steak easy and "classy". Your friends would think these knives are very expensive, for which is the contrary. If this set got any cheaper like the previous sale, just get a few sets at once, you won't regret it. Just beware not to sharpen it on a steel or manual sharpener, it has to be prifessionally sharpened. The only puzzling thing is in the weird design of the blade where there is a little offset curve blade near where the blade and its handle meet; what is this offset for, it can actually cuts a finger if someone got a big hand. Just be careful in handling any type of knives.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't go wrong with these
Great knives. Worth the money.

Just the facts.... being European, loving to live in America, put a major dent into my so familiar "Kitchen-Life"

Apparently all the engineers started working for NASA, and nobody stayed around working the "consumer applicance bit". When I first came to America in 1989, and stepped inside a SEARS appliance store, I was totally in shock. What are these "spiral-type" electric cook-elements I kept asking myself ? These appliances looked and function like 1950 models in Europe ! No smooth cooktops, no SILENT / QUIET dishwashers, no convection wall ovens, no washer and dryer in-one combinations, no front-loading washers. With other words the total appliance DESERT !

Now I am coming to the point. I am building a house right now. All the (european type)applicances I like to have, I have to buy through some major (almost black-market) type deal, because what is mainstream in Europe is NOT mainstream / very hard to come by and is always called GOURMET in the US.

THE SAME is true for cookware (e.g pots and pans, silverware, knives AND Steak knives. Nothing cuts around here :-) except some European designed knives. Apparently, it is very hard to find stainless steal cookware (pots and pans) in the US with tempered glass lids, an itemn that has been standard in Europe for 15 years, why is that ? To get back to the steak knives, we owned these for several years, they are great, fit good to our other Sambonet (Italian styled silverware) and really do cut, without the UGLY woodenhandles and "chromed" plates. I can't even find a decent corkscrew in this country ! This is really pittyful, BUT on the other hand the land and the houses are cheaper :-)

"Come on America", get to work and clean up this mess in your appliance, kitchenware and knive offerings, I know you can do it ! You went to the moon for crying out loud, why can't you design us some decent 21st century style appliances, pots & pans, AND KNIVES ?

Until this day will come I HAVE TO RECOMMEND, brands like BOSCH, Miele, Krups, WMF and these steak knives from Henckels or Zwilling as they are called in my native Germany. There is nothing better in this country in this segment, but these knives. Believe me, I have done the research ! I own 16 of those(you know when friends stop by for some steak dinner) If I were you, buy as many as you can, while they still exist ! Fact: The best beef is in America, that's why I am here too, but I have to cut the american beef with German knives for the time being. :-)

2-0 out of 5 stars Form over function
If you're looking for a cleanly designed knife with a wicked looking blade, these knives are for you.

If you are expecting to use the knives to actually cut steak, look elsewhere. The blades are not particularly sharp - they rely on the sawing action of the serrations. If you don't have firm grip on your fork these knives will just drag your steak around the plate. The knives don't cut, the RIP through the meat. The small serrations quickly become clogged and any semblance of cutting disappears.

My wife has some steak knives she got years ago as a premium for buying a full tank of gasoline... these knives, with a few strokes on a good stone, will cut a 1 inch steak in a single pass - something you could NEVER accomplish with the Henckels.

5-0 out of 5 stars 1-Piece Dishwasher-safe StainlessSteel w/Henckels on it = A+
I am not kind to my steak knives. My old knives had wood handles, they had to be pampered and washed by hand after use. Yuck. After only three trips through the dishwasher, the finish was fading fast....

I wanted a good cut from a dishwasher safe knife.

Cool thing #1: The 8 J.A. Henkels steak knives I ordered have been washed nearly every day in the dishwasher for about a month now, and they still look great and are as sharp as new.

Cool thing #2: One piece = no seams to get food caught in, or hidden places for rust like the wood handled ones. These get used for prepping veggies, and all sorts of times where a paring knife is needed, without concern of "NOT THE NICE KNIVES!".

Cool thing #3: These are a nice, basic, simple design. It doesn't stick out much, and blends in fairly well with my other (aka basic-looking) silverware.

A perfect "everyday little, sharp kitchen knife".

Note: I'm really glad I got 2 sets of 4...now there's ALWAYS a clean really-sharp knife around. ... Read more

The 4-inch blades on these four slender knives convert aporterhouse steak, a lamb chop, or a pork roast into bite-sized pieces, though their blades have serrated edges that tend to tear meat fibersrather than slice precisely through them. Henckels International is aninexpensive cutlery line made in countries outside Henckels's home ofGermany; this particular set is manufactured in Korea. The knives arestamped rather than forged from stainless steel, and the steel is oflesser quality than Henckels's premier lines. 5-0 out of 5 stars Great quality at a reasonable price
I've used these knives before, and also a higher end line of steak knives made by Henckels. To be honest, both seem to cut steak perfectly fine. I do like the single piece construction of these knives over the higher end models, and they cost about half the price. I keep them in a knife block with my other knives, and I tend to use them for all sorts of small cutting jobs. They make short work of raw veggies as well as cooked steak, and they're a breeze to clean because of the one-piece construction.

4-0 out of 5 stars sharp and economical
Despite another reviewer's experience, these knives are quite sharp. To compare them to plastic cutlery is ridiculous -- either the reviewer was being facetious or has an axe to grind for some reason. Notice that that review mentions that the buyer picked up his set for the same price as Amazon but at his local grocery store. How he knows that he even bought this same set of knives is beyond me.

So, I'll repeat: These knives are sharp. I don't find the handle particularly comfortable, but it's okay. My set arrived looking brand new -- no scratches.

Good value for the money.

1-0 out of 5 stars Get them only if its for looks
I have a Henckels block with a varied assortment of 11 knives but the 4 slots in the bottom for the steak knives remain empty. Though I have a complete set minus steak knives of the much higher quality 4 stars, I bought this exact same steak knife set from a grocery store chain locally in town for the same price it is listed here on Amazon thinking "what a great deal for Henckels knives!". I'd been looking for a good deal on a set of Henckels steak knives knowing that at any knife shop you could expect to pay upwards of 2 hundered for them.

After unpacking them from the box and cooking up a steak I found that these knives are only slightly better than a plastic untensil available free from a Boston Market. After two cuts into my meal I abandoned the so called Henkels steak knife for the 4" paring knife in my block. I will tell you that they look nice, but in my mind the image was severely cheapened by my attempt to find any kind of good use for them (other than give to people I dont like that are over for dinner!). They pretty much just float around in the standard utensil drawer with the forks and spoons now. I think 2 of them are even lost. Another thing I want to add is someone left one over the weekend in the bottom of the stainless steel sink and it rusted on the bottom and left a rust knife outline where it sat.

I read most of the other reviews on here and noticed a good portion are favorable. I just wanted to share my experience with this product and let you decide what you think based on all the facts. In my opinion, these are only Henckels knives in name and not quality.

Conclusion: A great wedding gift for your EX that gets married to someone else.

2-0 out of 5 stars Problems with the finish of the handles
When I ordered these knives, they arrived with many noticeable scratches on the handles making the look as if they had been used for several years. Amazon promptly sent a replacement but the new set has the same problems. Unfortunately I'll have to return these knives because they are not acceptable for a nice dining table, especially for new knives.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Year Later and Still Looking Great!
About a year ago, I wrote a review praising these knives. Well, it's been almost a year since then, and they are still looking great. We use them about once a week, and they go into the dish washer with our regular dishes. They are showing no sign of rust and still cut as well as ever. They really are the best steak knives I've over owned--attractive AND practical! ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Removed from their slots in this set's rubber-footed wood storage block, these eight knives slice any steak, chop, or roast into bite-size pieces. Gourmet is one of Henckels's inexpensive cutlery lines. These knives don't have bolsters, but that feature isn't vital when confronting a rib eye. The high-carbon, stainless-steel 4-1/2-inch blades are stamped, not forged, and because they are serrated on the upper halves, they tend to tear meat fibers rather than slice precisely through them the way straight-edge knives do. On the other hand, the fine serrations reduce the tearing effect, and the blades' lower halves are straight. The synthetic, three-rivet, full-tang handles are classically styled. --Fred Brack

1-0 out of 5 stars Knives rust in first washing
After I used them ONCE and washed them in the dishwasher the blades rusted! That's unacceptable. I have cheap stainless steal steak knifes I've had for 25 years that have NEVER rusted in the dishwasher. The box says dishwasher safe although in small print it says not recommended. Now I know why. They are inferior.
I purchased these knifes thinking I was going to get something a cut above. They are not as good as a $10 set of Steak Knifes from a discount store. Save your money!
I am returning mine.

2-0 out of 5 stars Expensive for what you get.
I had a set of steak knives that didn't cut very well. I was so sick of them I decided to spend what I thought was a considerable sum to get "good" knives. Unfortunately, I did not see the editor's comments on this site before buying--they do tear meat, rather than cut it. Frankly, they are only marginally better than those they replaced. [The block is also fairly useless. Who wants their steak knives sitting on the counter top all by themselves? I have my kitchen knives in a block and do not need or want two blocks sitting out.]

5-0 out of 5 stars Great knives that stay sharp for a long time!
I bought a set of 4 of these knives about 7 years ago. I use them for all my slicing! I have small hands and they are very comfortable to use when cutting vegetables. They are just now showing signs of needing sharpening.. but they are used a few times everyday in my home. My next purchase will be a set with a block so they don't get bumped around in the silverware drawer. ... Read more

Stamped from high-carbon stainless steel, the four knives inthis set are designed to cut steaks, chops, and roasts at the tableinto bite-size pieces. Because their 4-inch blades are serrated, theytend to rip meat fibers rather than slice neatly through them. On theother hand, the serrations' points make it easy to for the blades togrip a piece of meat that has a tasty, seared crust. Handles are madeof stainless steel with a contemporary satin-finish, and the knives arenicely balanced so they feel comfortable in the hand. 5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Knives
I had a set of steak knives sent to me as a result of buying another Calphalon product and since the first time we used them we loved them. They look like a very fine cutlery and do an amazing job slicing any kind of food. Even though I wash them in the dishwasher, they look fine and cut finely. Even some of our friends were impressed when they tried them. I would recommend them to everyone.

4-0 out of 5 stars Stylish and practical
After using several sets of "included" steak knives with various cutlery blocks, I finally decided to buy a set of steak knives. These are very elegant, do a great job of cutting, and feel quite nice in the hand. So far, they have retained a good edge as well.

As with any knives, hand-washing is better for the blade, but these have weathered the dishwasher with no trouble.

Overall, for the price and the look, I am highly satisfied with the set.

1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed by Calphalon steak knives
I chose this set of knives because of the Calphalon name (I love my cookware!), German steel use, and the description, "Hygienic fiberglass-reinforced poly resin handle will not absorb moisture, crack, split, or chip." I was disappointed to find that one of the sets I ordered was already showing signs of rust -- even though the set was unused and delivered in a "sealed" box, all four handles had rust marks. ... Amazon.com Review

The super-sharp 4-1/2-inch cutting edge and ergonomic handle make this a top-notch steak knife. Forged in Solingen, Germany, of a combination of ice-hardened carbon and stainless steel for edge retention, rust-resistance, and durability, the thin but strong blade easily cuts steak and other cooked meat.

When it is finally time to sharpen the straight edge of this knife, worry not, for it lends itself well to both a sharpening stone and steel. Once you've achieved the edge you want, a few quick sweeps along a steel each time you use the knife should keep the edge in fine condition. The ergonomic polypropylene handle lies comfortably in your hand, facilitating strain-free use; the metal bolster acts as a finger-guard; and the blade, bolster, and tang are fused into a seamless piece for easy handling and balance. The absence of rivets and recesses in the synthetic handle allows for dishwasher use. Finally! Still, the best way to care for this knife is to hand wash it with a mild soap, rinse it well, and then immediately wipe it dry. --Marcela Broussard ... Read more

Packed in a beautiful wood storage box, the eight knives inthis set slice steaks, chops, or roasts and, because they're stainlesssteel, they match stainless-steel flatware at the dinner table. Theknives have 4-inch blades cleverly angled to prevent wrist strain whileapplying maximum pressure. The edges are serrated so they do tend totear meat fibers rather than slicing cleanly through them asstraight-edge steak knives do. Stamped from high-carbon stainlesssteel, the knives have 18/10 stainless-steel handles and aredishwasher-safe. The storage box is heirloom quality, with a glowing,deep-auburn mahogany finish. Knives rest in wood slots at an angle thatmakes them easy to retrieve. The box measures 15 inches long, 5 incheswide, and 1-3/4 inches deep and has brass clasps. 1-0 out of 5 stars I was charged a $23.00 return fee on these inferior knives
Imagine my disappointment when these knives arrived and were light weight and poorly balanced.

Imagine my outrage when I was charged a $16.00 restocking fee in addition to a $7.11 postage fee!!

I have reread all of the return policy information, which is, A LOT, and no where is there any mention of a restocking fee.

Amazon seems to be losing it if they are going to screw people over when they send over priced and inferior merchandise!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great value
I was looking to get a quality set of steak knives at a reasonable price. These knives are sharp, balanced and easy to use, obviously well made. My family is delighted with them.

The wood presentation box is a nice touch.

All in all, a very good value.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great deal , wonderful gift
Call me lazy but I have discovered that this steak knife set makes a wonderful wedding gift and have bought 4 of them in the past six months. You can't beat the combination of quality and beauty when giving this set as a gift ! The price is right and I get rave reviews for my choice on every thank you card.

I was a hippie vegemite until I received these bad boys as a wedding gift... Yeehaw! Haven't tried cutting through a tire with em', but they mow through your toughest cut of meat. Love em' Love to show them off. Neato!
